The Jeffersontown Fire Department is one of the oldest fire departments in Jefferson County. They have 2 stations. Their apparatus currently consists of 4 Engine Companies, 1 Ladder Company, 1 Rescue Hazmat, 1 Squirt, and 1 Forestry Unit.

Station One runs Engine 3334 and Truck 3352 staffed while Engine 3331 is a spare piece of equipment and Forestry 3379 is a special operations unit, which means it is not staffed, so when it is needed 2 people from either 3334 or 3352 will jump over.

Station Two is currently up for sale. It is the oldest but the smallest station that they operate out of. The Jeffersontown Fire Department owns this station but they do not use it. They are currently leasing it to Yellow Ambulance who runs one of their ambulances out of that station.

Station Three runs Engine 3338 staffed while Squirt 3333 is a spare piece of equipment and Rescue 3389 is a special operations unit, which means it is not staffed, so when it is needed 2 people from 3338 will jump over. They also have Engine 3321 which is only used in parades and for showcase purposes.
