Again on your reference: 'To date, the exact number of those killed is unknown.' on page 11. The number in unknown based by many references and the interval is huge so as said from less then 1000 to more than 30000. Referring thousands means more than 2000, which is not supported by the interval which it self is unknown. I hope this ends here. Tag: Visual edit

I literally quoted from the Amnesty source before where it says "thousands". Stop falsely claiming it's unsourced. Tags: Manual revert Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
  • curprev 20:1920:19, 11 January 2025 Taha Danesh talk contribs 130,754 bytes −2 As said before I am not responsible for several I just deleted the unsourced thousands to what it was before your edit which happens to be several. If you don't like several change it to a correct term based br references. Tags: Undo Reverted

It implies a very low number of less than 10. Amnesty at the start of the report write "Between July and September 1988, the Iranian authorities forcibly disappeared and extrajudicially executed thousands of imprisoned political dissidents" Tags: Manual revert Reverted Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit

'Several' simply means 'many' and does not specify an exact number, unlike 'thousands,' which requires evidence. The burden of proof is on you to justify 'thousands,' as I did not write it initially. I have provided an exact quote from your own references, unlike you, which clearly states the numbers are disputed and unknown. Th Tags: Undo Reverted
  • curprev 19:2719:27, 11 January 2025 Tele-1985 talk contribs 130,756 bytes +2 Your edit makes no sense. No sources estimate "several" so do not re-add this. Reliable sources all estimate thousands. Amnesty International is clearly reliable regardless of your opinion that they are biased. • curprev 19:1419:14, 11 January 2025 Taha Danesh talk contribs 130,754 bytes −2 I am not the one who needs to prove anything because I didn’t add anything. The burden of proof lies with the one making the claim. You have stated 'thousands,' but even your own references, which are clearly biased and politically motivated, admit: 'To date, the exact number of those killed is unknown.' This is true because the figures are highly disputed, ranging from less than 1,000 to as high as 30,000. Therefore, stating 'thousands' is highly inaccurate.
