There appears to be some implication that I ought to have a view on whether this should be deleted or not. The answer is, I don't much care one way or another, and theoretical arguments point either way.

During the recent arbcomm case Abd generated vast quantities of "stuff" in his userspace, and as reverted diffs, and stuffed down his trousers for all I know. I, like most people, didn't read his verbiage so I really don't know what is in it; so I have no opinion on whether it should be deleted or not. To the extent that it is yet another pile of verbiage from Abd it is worthless, so best removed. And apparently it offends some people, so that is bad. But to the extent that this represents evidence that arbcomm considered during the case, it should be kept like all the other evidence for this case, partly as a blow against this apparently spreading canker of "courtesy blanking". But then again, maybe arbcomm just ignored it like everyone else, so it wasn't really evidence, so doesn't gain from that protection. But if that is so, why wait until the end of the case before putting it up for deletion. How can we know? We could ask arbcomm but would they answer? Precedent suggests not. Yet again, this (and possibly other Mfd requests that I haven't noticed) represents a failure of arbcomm to meaningfully enforce the evidence limit for this case.

So overall, and on the clear understanding that I haven't read it before and have only quickly skimmed it now, a weak keep I think William M. Connolley (talk) 21:25, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
