I've had enough of this. It seems abundantly clear to me now that Misplaced Pages, despite its noble objective, doesn't work. There are too many people where whose mission is not to create an encyclopedia of verifiable information. Their mission is to insert what they believe to be truth with no regard for any requirements such as verifiability and no originial research. They work by repeating the same claims in 1-2 line posts, ignoring all calls for reliable sources (because they have none).

The thing is though, unlike the hordes of POV pushers here I actually have a professional life outside Misplaced Pages. I don't ''need'' Misplaced Pages. It's not the center of my universe. I didn't join Misplaced Pages to push any opinion or to prove myself. I don't need to. Just because you manage to get something to stick in an article here doesn't make it so. :Hi! Thanks, I'm getting better. I've posted a comment on the talk page. It seems that the debate was mostly about principle 2 which is already oiff the table anyway. Jimbo is not by any stretch an authoritive source on what is questionable science or not and I don't think we should use that definition. There are ] of that than Austrian economics. What we ''should do'' is keep the coverage in seperate articles and then avoid the undue coverage issue by relying on the sources to determine to what extent Austrian views should be included. ] (]) 17:44, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

:He he thanks! When someone spends entire days editing just one talk page they either aren't as independent of the subject as they claim or they are using an alternate account. There's a difference between someone who simply cares about NPOV and someone campaigning on a talk page. It's hard to describe but when you've seen it enough times it becomes very obvious. More seriously, you guys are doing a great job keeping all this as NPOV as it can get. ] (]) 04:45, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi,<br> | |||

I don't need Misplaced Pages. It's not the center of my universe. I didn't join Misplaced Pages to push any opinion or to prove myself. I don't need to. Just because you manage to get something to stick in an article here doesn't make it so. What matters is what is found in reliable sources. If you can't understand that then frankly I pity you because you fail to understand the difference between winning at Internet posting (being a Wikipedian) and having sufficient knowledge about a subject to have a professional career or at least a relevant educational background.
- The above polemic about "verifibabiity and no original research" is laughable considering this substantial addition of unsourced personal opinion to an article. You don't need Misplaced Pages?? Misplaced Pages doesn't need you. Sundayclose (talk) 15:50, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:University of Copenhagen logo.png
Thanks for uploading File:University of Copenhagen logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:35, 25 December 2010 (UTC)
