In fact, the DRV instructions clearly state that "Deletion Review is to be used where someone is unable to resolve the issue in discussion with the administrator (or other editor) in question. This should be attempted first – courteously invite the admin to take a second look". I'm not particularly upset about this, but I would recommend trying a friendly discussion first next time, it generally results in a whole lot less bother and mess for everyone, including you. I've had enough of this. It seems abundantly clear to me now that Misplaced Pages, despite its noble objective, doesn't work. There are too many people where whose mission is not to create an encyclopedia of verifiable information. They work by repeating the same claims in 1-2 line posts, ignoring all calls for reliable sources (because they have none).
The thing is though, unlike the hordes of POV pushers here I actually have a professional life outside Misplaced Pages. I don't need Misplaced Pages. It's not the center of my universe.
