On citing yourself or persons you know
Dear AceUofT,
Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages!
I see that a rather large number of your edits cite a person with the initials S.V. as a source. Please be aware of the potential conflict of interest and the restrictions on citing yourself or persons you know.
I would also like to point out that edits should only be marked as minor when there is no change in meaning and/or when there is zero chance that someone will disagree with it, such as for spelling corrections, technical fixes, reverting obvious vandalism, etc. Other changes, even if they concern only one or two words, should never be marked as 'minor'.
Thank you for your attention, and happy editing!
