The name "Zipperhead" is a term of endearment commonly used by patients in reference to themselves as the Chiari surgical incision on the back of the head and neck resembles a zipper. The support and unconditional love shared among members of the Chiari Community is unequaled.

The color purple was chosen because it is the color of royalty and faith. Purple was also Joshua's favorite color, the Artist's (Haydee Clark) grandson.

As a Chiari patient, Joshua did not receive the proper medical care for his condition in a timely fashion due to the lack of knowledge in the medical community about Chiari. Due to this lack of care, his life was severely compromised.
