Examples

I am trying to record some peculiar edit summaries, and to begin with I have started some specimen from User:Dbachmann's edit summaries - this shall give me many examples (of wikipedia-trivia) for my forthcoming book: . --Bhadani (talk) 18:57, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Some examples of edit summary:

  1. huh
huh was the edit summary. Was it foolish or funny?
  2. just a little bit tongue-in-cheek, no?
Behind the innocuous looking summary is veiled something different
  3. Forgetting to write edit summary for important issues.
Partner will come to support and it will be closed. One should not predict as[REDACTED] is not predictology. --Bhadani (talk) 10:01, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
  4. Bhadani's blah bla bal: - - -
Please don't turn the Misplaced Pages into Blah...Blah. --Bhadani (talk) 17:01, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
eccentric talk is better than eccentric content - I could not help if I was reminded of the greatest bastard of human history though there are many smaller ones too.
  5. wikipedians define a troll, and everyone gets the enlightenment
  6. Another zealot has come to light, it seems, sigh
Sometimes, I used to get worried about the editors physical or mental state after spotting such edits. However, Now I understand that some wikipedians have more rights than the others.

Hi

Hello Bhadaniji, long time since I said hi to you! I am not very active these days as I am busy in real life... The next month also promises to be very busy... I just keep popping up every now and then and looks like it will be that way for the next few months... — Lost 18:52, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

That is fine. real life matters require proper attention. However, please continue to keep popping up :) --Bhadani (talk) 05:25, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Main India article

Dear Bhadani...Saw some of your contributions...am kind of new...but I still feel that the Main India article is written from a British/Western point of view. From an Indian point of view, we always see the UK/PT/FR as foreigners and occupiers. I thus feel that we should adopt another POV in which we denigrate the British view and put more emphasis on the history of India before the British came...so that India is continuous since Indus Valley Civilization and not overnight from 1947...I already had some discussion with users IndianStar, NobleEagle, Chanakyathegreat...and they agree, however, the British writer Fowler always negates all these opinions and puts in the British POV with the guise of Encyclopaedia Britannica references. I thus urge you to refurbish the India main paragraph and remove even the word British and put more emphasis on Indus Valley Civilization...and India's first emperor Ashoka...and maintain the continuity since 5000 years. The British maybe just referred to as foreign occupiers. Basically even the word British is derogatory in the India article... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.8.10 (talk) 04:40, 1 April 2007 (UTC).

Thank you for your message and kind words. However, I am no longer interested in such matters - at least, for the time being. Kindly seek the advice and assistance of persons who may be more knowledgeable than me. I would also suggest that for serious work and discussion, one should register and do some edits so that community of wikipedians may form an opinion about the contents created by that particular editor. Regards. --Bhadani (talk) 05:22, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
I suggest that you should now retire from wikipedia. You have wasted enough time of the community. --219.65.124.168 06:26, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
OK. However, I reserve the right to disappoint you. . --Bhadani (talk) 08:51, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Hindutva Propaganda AfD

Hi. Would you care to comment on this timeline? Or should I have used a sock to ask this question, as someone imagines would be my wont? rudra 18:20, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

I just passed by that street and I do not feel like commenting as the debate has become emotionally over-charged. --Bhadani (talk) 19:31, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
I concede that it's unfair to expect anyone to speak up. I have updated my User page accordingly. Good luck to you. rudra 19:38, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Rama's Arrow (talk · contribs)'s post on my Talk page seems to be suggesting that I have included you (and if so, him too) among the lot mentioned on my User page. That was not my intent at all. If you have taken my earlier comment here in that way, I apologise for the misunderstanding (and, of course, my less than perfectly clear English.) I sympathise with your take on the matter. rudra 20:38, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Oh. I never took your comments in any negative way and it is perfectly all right to talk. In fact, I do not want to involve myself in controversial issues as there are many other things which may be done here. Please do not worry - you did nothing wrong to me. Cheers :) --Bhadani (talk) 02:35, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Welcome Note

Thanks for the welcome note. Was it in response to something I did (or didn't do), or was it just a "Welcome to Misplaced Pages!" note?—C45207 | Talk 07:48, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Just a welcome. Please be around. --Bhadani (talk) 17:00, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

A message

Hi Bhadani,

Can you please edit 'external links' in 'Indo-Aryan migration' article and add following link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/hinduism/history/history_4.shtml. This is already discussed in discussion page under BBC link.

Thanks, BKN

No

I thank you for your message. However, my answer is no as I do not like the idea of creating user IDs to begin a talk. I request you to please begin editing wikipedias. Thanks. --Bhadani (talk) 17:58, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

I also thank you to wikipedia. --Bhadani (talk) 17:59, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Repeating

Repeating makes it perfect: - yes - Ye shall keep My statutes.
