==Proliferation of Club Links==

I am noticing the links section of the page is growing, with a lot of local clubs added. I know that Misplaced Pages is not a collection of links, but perhaps if it gets to a certain size an article called List of Radio Control Model Boat clubs should be started and the majority moved there? Or should we cull out all but national organizations, if even those? Your thoughts? Seaphoto 03:57, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Half Hull Boats

I removed the refernce to half-hulled, plaque mounted boats as they are, by definition, not radio controlled. Seaphoto 12:36 10 June 2006

Racing Classes

I removed the detailed information about racing classes in the UK. This might be a good subject for a separate article, but not for the overview of radio controlled boats. Also removed the sentance about tethered racing as it is not relevant to the radio control boat subject. Seaphoto 03:15, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Merge Suggestion

From Footy (model yacht) Kkmurray 04:07, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

I can see a time when the article will need to be branched into sub categories (such as radio-controlled submarine. For now, I would leave that article where it is, but put a link to it. Seaphoto 06:37, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

an additional suggestion:

Model yachting also needs to somehow integrated or linked to.

It is already linked in the "See Also" section. I would not integrate it, as not all Model Yachts are radio controlled. Seaphoto 16:45, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

And not al Footys are radio-controlled. I did not notice that g;itch an have corrected it.

Maybe Footy (model yacht) should be integrated with Model_yachting#Radio_control.--Kkmurray 00:44, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
