I decided to retire after I learned the result of ]. No longer could I, a traditional Catholic and supporter of the ], contribute, in good conscience, to an institution that actively silences, persecutes, and defames Catholic points of view. == History == |

I joined Misplaced Pages on 15 January 2016 to edit the aforementioned Jayski page. After that, I started updating NFL players pages for free agency. Thanks to ], ], ], ] and ] for helping show me the ropes. To borrow a term from ], I like to think of myself as a one-man WikiProject, editing whatever I feel like needs improvement. Over time, I've dabbled in a number of areas, but motorsports tends to be my calling card. I've also worked in education (primarily high schools), American football, and anything Wisconsin-related. I used to deal in ultimate but came away very nonplussed by the ultimate community as a whole and have since divested my interest in all ultimate, on-wiki and off. |

* Yes, IPs are human, so yes, you should treat them with decency. Yes, they also can be not knowledgeable, so sometimes you can reprimand them. Yes, they are also sometimes blatant vandals, so sometimes you can block them and not feel guilty. |

* Some editors believe some areas of the encyclopedia are "more important" than others. My viewpoint is that if the notability guidelines call for it, it isn't less important than anything else. |

* Edit counts, while useful as an overall indicator, can be misleading both in the case of many superfluous edits or in the case of a few large edits. |

* If you don't know what you're doing, don't make controversial changes. |
|
|
* Empty userpages are nice at first glance, but edit histories reveal all. |

* If I place a page improvement tag on a page you created, don't take it personally. I am just trying to improve the encyclopedia by letting you and other editors know that the page requires some attention. |

* If I were to create a page of a racing driver, it would include a considerable amount of prose, not just an infobox and a results table. In fact, I would prioritize getting the prose in over the infobox and the table. |

* Maybe there is relevancy behind actions that may seem detrimental to the encyclopedia at first glance. If you're suspicious of something, don't just take it at surface level - do some research and gain context before making a decision. |
