(This is mainly directed at Kris) - Please don't remove comments from the discussion pages. Such deletions will just be reverted. Similarly, making comments and demands in the articles themselves will get you nowhere. You have to work within the system to get corrections made. You're a notable person, which means you've been written about, and Misplaced Pages is allowed to make reference to those things that have been written about you. You don't have the privilege of stopping it.

However, if anything the least bit contentious is written in Misplaced Pages, ''especially'' about a living person, then ] and they must be ]. This is covered in the ]. You (and everyone else) have the right to delete any specific claims about the person if you believe they have not been adequately sourced, and you can demand on the discussion page that people cite some f'ing sources next time. In articles not about living people, though, it is generally better to not go deleting things and instead just put <nowiki>{{citationneeded}}</nowiki> after any statement that's a problem, then mention on the talk page why you did that, and give people a chance to dig up their sources.

I'm sorry playing by these rules is beyond your level of patience, but it's the only way you're going to get something close to what you want. There is no way you're going to have nothing written about you in Misplaced Pages. The best you can hope for is to get people to be more mindful of the rules they're supposed to be following when writing about actual people. Threatening legal action will only get you banned. —] 09:01, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

i am the subject and ive been telling you that i dont give you permission to store this information about me for many many years. i note you have removed my achievement of attaining a number one album from your description yet retain other inaccurate information. what is that about!? you cite sources that are from books and journalists who have never met me and are merely speculating. i have very very rarely done an interview with the press, i was not in the orb until 1995, you dont mention what im doing now. your website is just a parasite basically using my and everyones information to increase its own worth. i refer to the EU right to be forgotten data law and the various equality laws that exist in the UK - i do not want this information on your website and it causes me distress for it to be here. remove and retract this rubbish. <!-- Template:Unsigned IP --><small class="autosigned">— Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 14:23, 25 January 2021 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

that lazlo comment must be removed as it is an insult. do i fucking get to call lazlo a which he is on his[REDACTED] page and that stays up ?

:I'm not an administrator, but since you do apparently take offense at his comment, we can delete the insulting bits, which I've done, without removing the parts that he is free to say. Look at it this way: don't you want Lazlo to be held accountable for his actions? If you go deleting the things he writes, it makes him seem better behaved than he is.—] 18:21, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
:Hey Kris, please don't hunt and kill me, I'm your friend, I almost hate Misplaced Pages, they want to bann me, though I'm still contributing, I'm not sure if it's worth to stay here.
:I'm myself an eclectic musician (a very minor one, compared to you). I actually love almost all music and I began to play simple self-made oscillators, a recorder and various instruments for kids when I was 8 years old, in 1975/76. Along the years I listened to and played a huge range of styles alone or with mates. Though ] and ] are my favourite artists, I can listen from classical-academic music, such as Stockhausen, Stravinsky, Debussy, to the most recent popular indie bands (Editors, Cinematic, White Rose Movement) or hip-hop oriented pop artists , such as Justin Tymberlake, Kayne West, Pharrell Williams.
:''Some "wikipedians" assert that I'm closed minded, that I do not know ambient music, house and techno, or that I am just an obsessive fan of krautrock (instead I play guitar with a very jazz oriented style). Maybe not-so-subtly they are trying to prove that I'm racist (I love John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Stanley Clarke, just to name a few). Most of them are just kids, and weren't born yet when I recorded my first compositions, played music with friends or jumped and danced in a club.
:'''I really hate these guys!!!!''' ''(but do not take it too seriously)''.
:so, please again, Kris don't kill me. Thx.
