Franz Mherryon Robles (born 28 November 1997 in Pagsanjan, Laguna) is a Filipino poet and prose writer mainly known for his lyrical essays and aphorisms.
Biography
Robles was born on 28 November 1997 in Pagsanjan, Laguna Province. He graduated with a degree on civil engineering at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde.
Growing up, writing essays became one of his hobbies. He started his literary career in 2021 with his debut novel Lifelong Commitment, which focuses on an individual's search for meaning, mental health and accepting life's lesson. It was followed by collections of essays and poems, written both in English and Tagalog, aimed at inspiring people in coming out of their comfort zones. In February 2024, some of his poems were included in the anthology Magkasintahan: Volume VII, published by the Ukiyoto Press. He cites Stephen Chbosky, J. K. Rowling and Bob Ong among his greatest influence in writing.
