Upon look at the edit history I see the list used to be 100 entries there was then a discussion to trim it down to the current size the discussion however was in favor of keeping the list at 100 the user seemingly overruled the consensus and trimmed it anyway I think that with more realablie sources for older people such as lq eso and las that a 100 person list can be maintained ] (]) 05:14, 24 May 2024 (UTC) |

Turkish women named Ayşe Bayrı is borin in 1898 8th of june is still currently living and 126 years old there has been news interviews in Turkey, she saw 3 sultans and every president in Turkey, therefore i request an edit. |

Izabel Rosa Pereira is the only person in the list not being veryfied by Gerontology Research Group. Checking "LongeviQuest", I could not even find an article in Misplaced Pages about this group. How reliable is it? Is Mrs Pereira's age verified by other groups or at least accepted for approval by Gerontology Research Group? Does it make sense to keep her listed in top ten without further evidence? |
