Lyman Robert Stone (born May 13, 1991) is American sociologist and pronatalist demographer. He is the Director of Research at the consulting firm Demographic Intelligence, an adjunct fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, a senior fellow and director of the Pronatalism Initiative at the Institute for Family Studies.

Lyman Robert Stone was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. From 2009-2013 he attended Transylvania University, graduated with bachelors degree in economics. In 2015 Stone earned a master's degree in international trade and investment policy from Elliott School of International Affairs of the George Washington University. Before moving to Montreal he and his wife Ruth served as missionaries in the Lutheran Church-Hong Kong Synod. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in sociology at McGill University.

In 2013 and 2014, Stone worked as an economist on tax incentives, migration issues, and data harmonization projects at Tax Foundation. He later worked as an international economist for USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service, where he was forecasting cotton supply and demand conditions for Africa, the Middle East, and Uzbekistan.
