The removal of valid sourced statements is not allowed. Also myspace is not considered a good source.] 19:32, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
*Here are the rules straight from ]: Self-published sources should never be used as third-party sources about living persons, even if the author is a well-known professional researcher or writer.
Myspace is a self published source, since it is run by the band itself. You say "MySpace is the best source there is because the band members made and edit their MySpace page" but that's the exact kind of thing[REDACTED] is against. This cite relies on reliable third party sources, in this case the ] article I posted fits this criteria. Please do not remove this source again.] 06:17, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
==Don't remove citation requests!==
If you see the words {{cn}} next to something, do not remove it unless you are adding a citation!] 03:14, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
"You don't need a citation for every little fact about a band, especially not for a genre. Look at any other band article. There are rarely citations on genres. So do not put the citation request up again because it is not needed."
This is not true, see ]. It states that attribution is required for direct quotes and for material that is challenged. There is nothing about not needing it for a genre, and further more there are plenty of articles where genres are sourced, ], ], ], to name a few.
As your claim that emo is not a genre because it is a style of music (aren't these the same thing?), is clearly a fringe theory.
If you remove the citation or citiation request again I will report you. THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING. ] 04:54, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
