WOverstreet,

First off, I'm not an admin, so this isn't a threat of an imminent block. But I've noticed several things that you seem to be doing recently, which taken together are clearly ], and are likely to get you blocked from editing, quite soon. You seem to have been here long enough that I assume you don't want this to happen. So, please consider doing the following:
# If someone hasn't already, I am about to delete your list of "People who suck" on your user page. This is a ], and is not acceptable. Please do not re-add this.
# Someone has already reverted your deletion of other people's comments at ]. Your deletion is ]. Please don't re-delete them.
# It seems blatantly obvious that you are using an IP as a sockpuppet. This violates ]. Please stop using this IP to back up your named account in disputes, or to give the appearance of agreement.
# You are impersonating another editor, and awarding yourself a barnstar just so you can yank their chain somemore. I'm gald to see you have already reverted yourself. Please do not impersonate another user again.

Again, you seem to have many numerous legitimate, helpful edits in the past, and have been here long enough that I think you already know you shouldn't be doing this. May I suggest backing off, cooling down, taking a break, or something? You definitely seem to be headed towards a block.

Deleting this message will be taken as acknowledgement that you've read it. --] (]) 18:45, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

June 2007

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from University of Florida Five Year Plan. Please be more careful when editing articles and do not remove content from Misplaced Pages without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you.--Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 22:34, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

Milken Institute

A tag has been placed on Milken Institute, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. android79 23:57, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Bolding

Please do not use styles that are unusual or difficult to understand in articles, as you did to University of Florida. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. Thank you. Cmprince 18:14, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Charlie Torano requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Misplaced Pages guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Accounting4Taste 05:27, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

deletion of talk page comments

Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:University of Florida, you will be blocked for vandalism. Cmprince 13:37, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Please don't do that

WOverstreet,

First off, I'm not an admin, so this isn't a threat of an imminent block. But I've noticed several things that you seem to be doing recently, which taken together are clearly disruption, and are likely to get you blocked from editing, quite soon. You seem to have been here long enough that I assume you don't want this to happen. So, please consider doing the following:

  1. If someone hasn't already, I am about to delete your list of "People who suck" on your user page. This is a personal attack, and is not acceptable. Please do not re-add this.
  2. Someone has already reverted your deletion of other people's comments at Talk:University of Florida. Your deletion is against policy. Please don't re-delete them.
  3. It seems blatantly obvious that you are using an IP as a sockpuppet. This violates WP:SOCK. Please stop using this IP to back up your named account in disputes, or to give the appearance of agreement.
  4. You are impersonating another editor, and awarding yourself a barnstar just so you can yank their chain somemore.
