Semi-protection - There seems to be an epidemic of IP users rewriting the ending of the plot to reflect a draft of the script that was not the official ending of the theatrical release. Extend Semi-protection for 2-3 months. Per Wikipedia_talk:Administrator_intervention_against_vandalism#Mousepad_vandalism, a single user was using multiple IP addresses abusivly for an extended period of time. There were at least two WP:RFCs on the issue, the first of which pleased all but one user, and the second of which I opened and closed as the user was not providing any references concerning the accusations of plagiarism (and only listing the sites be believed contained such plagiarism). The accustaions were going out of control, and as a result a large quantity of the RFC discussion was removed from talk per WP:BLP.

Content disputes are resolvable and shouldn't warrant protection, but this is well beyond a content dispute and into the realm of abusive POV. --Sigma 7 11:46, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

I've been doing some major overhauling to the template, which was cut/pasted from a prototype on my user space to the template article. Unfortunately, there are still some minor bugs that need to be resolved, and it's difficult for me to get admins to make my requested changes. At Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR‎ I asked for a large number of reversions in content disputes by the user Francis Tyers. The article were protected by all the Wiki users in last variant reverted by Francis Tyers. Some parts of reverts even arent explained in the talk page! For example he never explains why he readded "large number" term, deleted <fact> tag despite no citations from the HRW and Memorial Human Rights Center provided etc (he tried to explain only why he deleted some links which he marks as "hysteric"). User:Hardouin is on what seems to be a rather pigheaded attempt to impose (through non-commented reverts) a personal point of view (whatever - WP:OWN?) on this article: all facts cited point to the Paris region as being the reach of the Paris economy, and not just the city itself; Wiki protocol calls for a use of local conventions before any |greater world schema - the present version adheres both to fact (sources cited) and actual French terminology - this with added explanation - so the motivation for the continual reverts has nothing at all to do with verifiability or reader comprehension.
