Hey, there was a flurry of COBot reports at WP:SCV and now nothing. Was it a trial run? It did a really good job (aside from some PD sources that I'm sure can be whitelisted) and there wasn't much overlap (unless the other bots are filtering out already-reported pages). Thanks! --'''<span style="background:Black;color:White"> ]|]|] </span>''' 02:52, 9 October 2007 (UTC) | Hey, there was a flurry of COBot reports at WP:SCV and now nothing. Was it a trial run? First of all, look at the god damn page. Does it look like it's a user page? There is no evidence of customization from a SINGLE user. The information on there are warnings TO the users of that IP. That's right, USERS - that's a university IP address that many, many students are routered through.
What did I do? I removed MY name from the page. The reason why my name is there is because my socially inept tard of a roommate last year thought it would be funny to write an entry under my name. I didn't know my name was on that page until I saw it in a google search.
I don't see how you could come to the conclusion that I was vandalizing a user's page. Anyone with common sense could deduce what I just broke down for you. Why else would someone try to remove a first and last name from a User:talk with vandalism warnings. YOU are the one that needs to stop abusing wikipedia. |

I have reverted your removal of my content here and adding a note that you did so. It would have been nice to let me know, as well. • Lawrence Cohen 05:42, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
I have sent you an email. Please act on it, either way, when you next log on. You probably consider it a matter of urgency. Daniel 12:14, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Bot
Could you rerun the bot on Category:Category:Canadian drama television series to take out the duplicated word "Category"? Thanks. Bearcat 19:33, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Re:DotNetWikiBot.dll with AWB...
It seems you cant.. It was ages since i had looked at the plugin code.. So i got confused!
Well, not have it loaded as a plugin.. I suspect/think you should be able to use it via the Custom Module...

- Chances are a compiler switch could be added to reference the file.. Reedy Boy 15:34, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Looks like it just needs a cp.ReferencedAssemblies.Add("DotNetWikiBot.dll");, potentially with a checkbox to enable it... Its just whinging about metadata in the dnwb dll.. Reedy Boy 15:40, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

People make mistakes
Dear CO,
You may have noticed that people make mistakes from time to time. Some people even completely vanish - presumably because they've made mistakes. There is no shame in that. One mistake that I may have made is turning down your barnstar. I'd felt that it probably wasn't given in good faith, but probably as a sarcastic comment. If it was given in good faith, I'd be honored if you re-instated it (but maybe a hex sign instead?!).
Also, I think what you've done with George Soros is wrong, goes against consensus and wp:blp. I'd like you to withdraw it. Think about it for 2 weeks. Consider the quality of Bill O'Reilly's reporting. If after 2 weeks you think that it is quality stuff, I'll be happy to work through it with you point-by-point.
Please do withdraw the material.
In all sincerity,

CObot
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is desirable or not, but i noticed the COBot edited an archive. I don't know policy on this but I thought I'd give a heads up in case that is not what you intended.PStrait 14:50, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
