The Mississippi RiverKings are a professional minor league ice hockey team. It is an inaugural member of the Central Hockey League, playing its first fifteen seasons from the 199293 season to the 200607 season as the Memphis RiverKings. The team is affiliated with the New York Rangers and the Hartford Wolf Pack.

For its first eight seasons, the team played its home games in the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee. Since 2000, their home has been the DeSoto Civic Center in the Memphis suburb Southaven, Mississippi.

The team was renamed after an online vote between the following five choices: Mid-South RiverKings, DeSoto RiverKings, Southaven RiverKings, Mississippi RiverKings, or the original franchise name; Memphis RiverKings. The winning name was announced on July 22007.
