Countries that recognize independent Kosovo

That is correct English. Saying "recognized":

a) Sounds funny.

b) Can be taken to mean that they previously recognized Kosovo, but have now changed their mind and retracted their recognition.

FP noms

Hello, I am writing re: your many recent nominations at WP:FPC. Very few of them have significant chances of attaining featured status. I would suggest you hang out at the FP nomination page for a while, but hold off on new nominations for a few days, so that you can get a better sense of what are considered viable images there. I third this motion. The FPC process is highly selective, and our notion of photographic excellence is not equivalent to those of the FP reviewers. Eagerbeaver434 RFCU

I saw this, and I thought I could field this question. Alison declined the CheckUser request because you have not provided enough evidence, demonstrating a similarity in edits between Hkelkar and this user. Alison is an uninvolved editor who has no history with Hkelkar (I presume). You need to explain to her what the editing similarities are between Hkelkar and Eagerbeaver434, and show relevant diffs (you only provided 5 diffs, and an outsider who doesn't know what pro-Hindu POV is wouldn't know what the heck you're talking about). Also, from my experiences, I can tell you that this is definitely a sockpuppet, most probably belonging to Hkelkar. Hope that answers your question. Nishkid64 (talk) 07:35, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I see your doing a grand job on the AFD's, but you may want to think about using speedy deletion tags in certain cases i.e. Beauty Killer would be a classic {{db-repost}}. I'm going to leave it up there now, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a speedy close. Looking through some of the others, there are a few {{db-band}}'s there as well. Brynjar Aa

Hi thanks for informing me. I think it was created when I was going through a missing list beginning with aa. There isn't practically any web info on him I agree but that isn't the first time google hasn;t come up with the goods. I've asked Punkmorten if he has any idea of notability and if any of the libraries in Norway would have anything on him. I;m certain alot could be written about him using a Norwegian source but as it is it isn't very useful. I'd hoped it would have been expanded by now but I've noticed most of the Norwegian articles are still stubs sub stubs even because very few people can translate from Norwegian. I have proposed some kind of Wiki Translation - for the wikimedia project to venture into free translation in tens of languages. As yet Jimbo hasn't responded to me, but for me inability to translate from the less common language sis one of the biggest obstacles to universal information on wikipedia. I;m think ing about making a formal proposal.
