Bishonen, Walton One compared your posts to RFAR to showing up to court in a clown suit. He was too kind. Your behavior these last few days has been like showing up to a funeral in a clown suit, littering the graves with balloon animals, and pretending you're in a position to take offense when a family member gasps. The joke isn't funny anymore. It isn't easy to reply to these antics in a civil manner. Please apologize and retire the Bishzilla account. It used to be funny; it isn't anymore. <font face="Verdana">]</font>'']'' 21:28, 16 April 2008 (UTC) | |||

Be Careful....
...when you ROAR!!!!. See below. You got abducted by aliens friendly to "-zillas". Aliens are testing YOU first. 65.163.115.114 (talk) 10:29, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
?!
A LARGE UFO parks itself 2,000 miles over Bishzilla, abducts her, then clones her, modified the clone, returns Bishzilla, while the creature is still asleep. The HUGE Delta shaped starship then flies off noiseless. Aliens further modify the clone to be FAR MORE POWERFUL than the original Bishzilla. 65.163.115.114 (talk) 05:42, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
- Bishzilla wakes up with a hell of a headache and a nosebleed, and finds a Alien inplant in her brain. She is seeking Dr. Greer (of Coast To Coast fame) to get rid of the alien implant. 65.163.115.114 (talk) 05:45, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
- It later turns out that it was Bishzilla that was abducted AND modified! The clone was a hologram to keep others distracted. Now she's so powerful that even Bishonen cannot control her at all. Bishzilla can now fly (w/ genetic coding placed for powerful wings, taken from Rodan, and modified), shoot laser-like beams of psionic energy, from the eyes, still "breathes" fire, only it is at 1,000,000,000,000,000,000+ Degrees Kelvin, has electrified skin, like that of a electric eel, other powers that she will discover in time, on her own. In flight, her speed is FAR faster than a SR-71, meaning she generates destructive sonic booms(shock waves). Her land speed (walking, running speed MAX is a good 1,000 KPH) is a bit slower. Aliens ask Bishzilla this question,"You Like ? You did US a favor a while back, so WE returned the favor." 65.163.115.114 (talk) 10:23, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm going to regret this, but ...
Um, we have this thing called administrator recall here. It tends to come into play when large, powerful, occasionally awkward admins stomp on Tokyo too often. News reports have had you and another new administrator, User:Doczilla have been "playing doctor" and maybe gotten a little too, um, feisty. That's the account of the most coherent survivor, although, granted, that isn't necessarily saying much. Did I mention that I have a long, successful, history of killing large, green, multi-limbed creatures on other planets? I don't know why I said that. Anyway, I'm wondering whether you have considered making yourself eligible for recall, in the event things, um, get out of hand/paw/whatever. And I feel this weird uncontrollable urge to change my name and lock up the servers for a few minutes again while I frantically wave my sub-etha sensomatic around looking for a lift. I've heard rumors, from sources who don't want to be identified for some reason, that someone or other might be considering starting a recall petition around the first of next month. I hope to be in some other galaxy by that point myself, on vacation of course, so I doubt I can be forced persuaded to take part, but am wondering about your opinion on this matter. Bye now. :) John Carter (talk) 17:25, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Japancast.net WIKI page
WHY DID YOU DELETE THE JAPANCAST.NET WIKI PAGE!? IT IS NOT ADVERTISING - IF SO, PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO PHRASE IT SO THAT IT IS NOT ADVERTISING!? TAT TOOK ME HOURS!
- No need to shout. I understand it took a long time. Wiki articles must be neutrally written. This article reads like advertisement. Phrases like "learn Japanese easily and swiftly", "another thing that increased the popularity of Japancast", "a brilliant resource for reading Japanese" read like promotional website, not like an encyclopedia. Also section on "The owners" is unencyclopedic, needs removing: personal circumstances of owners, or jokes about eating with chopsticks, is not notable information about Japancast. If you wish, try to rewrite the article neutrally, and post it again, saying "Rewritten on advice of deleting admin" in the edit summary. Edit summary important, or it will be re-deleted as "recreated content" by some other admin. Feel free to ask more questions. bishzilla ROARR!! 20:49, 5 April 2008 (UTC).
Regarding the deletion of article: "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?"
Bishzilla,
I don't find the deletion for the article "Is It A Good To Microwave This?" (that you deleted on 5th April 2008), acceptable under the grounds of it's "notability".
The article is of potential interest of the 100,000+ viewers of the program. Surely, that's more than a great number of current articles on Misplaced Pages at the moment, which wouldn't get a look without the random article link.
May you please reconsider the re-opening of this article.
Thank you for your time,

Response to "Regarding the deletion of article: "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?""
And I disargee again, per to what I said above, your response was more insulting, than helpful. You merely expressed you're opinion is somehow of more worth than mine, gave me a link, and wished me to leave, with the subject.
I'm not going though all that fuss to try and recover the article I wrote, which, I am sure, would be of more interest to a greater amount of people then a number of other articles. It wasn't asif the article was bad either.
Again, I thank you for your time, and look forward to your reply,

regarding Speedy Deletion of Ustad Abid Hussain Khan & Jamaluddin Khan pages
I am sorry that despite "hangon" and additional material and references, the pages were deleted. I humbly submit that Indian arts are based on the principle of impersonality and true artistes practice this even today. It was only interaction with west that made fine arts noticeable and worthy of documentation. Indian music is still a mystery, even to its practitioners, only a few of whom attain the moment of enlightenment. Unless one understands development of Indian music within the Gharana system, the term "descendent of Tansen" would hold no meaning, at least not as a reason for 'notability' or lack of it. I shall be grateful, if in consultation with an editor knowledgeable about Indian Classical Music the deleted pages are reviewed and restored. Both pages refer to a reliable secondary source, Prof. R.C. Mehta's book,Eminent Musicians of Yester Years. Both the artistes, father and son represent crucial points in evolution of North Indian Classical Music.
Please encourage people to add knowledge to public domain; it has been a fundamental belief of ancient Indian teaching system that "knowledge should be given to the deserving alone" and gave birth to caste-system based on intellectual discrimination. Pupils spent life-time devoting themselves to the whims and fancies of their Guru in order to gain Guru-mantra (grains of wisdom). The merit of such beliefs are no longer recognized. In a democratic world let not its champion Misplaced Pages prove that indeed, knowledge must be given only to the deserving. Best wishes, Ghanonmatta (talk) 16:27, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- I am wondering if it would be appropriate to these two articles (Ustad Abid Hussain and Jamaluddin Khan) to userspace so they can be reviewed and, if possible, improved on by the author. It is possible that they are, in fact, deserving of an entry but I can't review them as I am not an admin. I'll leave it to your discretion. Thanks. —BradV 17:18, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
- OK. I have placed the articles in Ghanonmatta's userspace, here, so that Ghanonmatta can work on them and BradV can review them and hopefully give advice. Please note that this is a temporary placement, as it is against[REDACTED] principles to leave deleted mainspace articles in the userspace for very long. The userpage I have created will soon be deleted, unless you actually work on the articles with a view to restoring them to article space. bishzilla ROARR!! 18:42, 6 April 2008 (UTC).

Wow, looking at the last few posts above, the 'Zilla must be taking some great English lessons. All those adverbs, adjectives and even a few complete sentences. Tex impressed. Who teach the 'Zilla? ;o)Tex (talk) 15:10, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Timescale for userfied deleted pages
Hi, I noticed this which I myself have done for folks requesting to improve an otherwise vaporised article. And noted your comment somewhere about a requirement for being worked upon. I hadn't seen any discussion and wasn't sure where to start wading through mountains of WP archives looking - hence a question on a mental timescale/deadline thingy and and whether a policy on this sort of thing had been discussed somewhere (?) Cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 02:33, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Regret delay. Zilla not seen discussion or considered deadline, either. Going by common sense + principles of User:Calton, who delete such userpages if come upon them just sitting there (happens a lot). Giving user two-three weeks to at least touch pages seem ample, no? bishzilla ROARR!! 15:02, 13 April 2008 (UTC).
- I find blanking works best. Still there in userspace for being worked on later. Only the title shows up on searches. For example: User:Carcharoth/Gracia Fay Ellwood, User:Carcharoth/Middle-earth in popular culture. If a page is incubating, and it is in reasonable shape, I don't mind letting it show up on search engines (and despite the claims, they still do). For example here (high up on first page of search results) and here (fifth on the search page results). Carcharoth (talk) 16:53, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hmmm. Interesting. Maybe a big banner/template thingy could be used stating, "This is not a page in Misplaced Pages mainspace, but an article which for one or more reasons (i.e. was deleted, currently unsourced WRT notability etc) not able to be placed there currently." This would allow me, if I stumbled over this page to more directly help out and be able to improve it, for instance. I know of one page which took 10 months to find sources, and there wasn't really much to do until something popped up (which it serendipitously did). The main ones I have problems with improving are where references lie elsewewhere (eg in big library). I have never interacted with Calton before. So I take it there's been no real place apart from a rudimentary para on userfying stuff.Cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 20:01, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

How about a reply for "Response to "Regarding the deletion of article: "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?""
It'll be great if you don't ignore my comments and opinions on Misplaced Pages and your actions as an adminisator - it's just rude. Before replying to other users ahead of my response, reply to it. CCowell125 (talk) 17:16, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- One assumes that she already has, by referring you to the appropriate policies that explain why your article got deleted. Additionally, though, she also told you what to do with your discontentedness: you can go to WP:DRV. That's the "deletion review" section. It is better if people uninvolved in the deletion review the matter and make a decision, and DRV is where you can get that done. Isn't that better than badgering someone, telling them who they should talk to, in what order, etc., and demanding or expecting her to change her mind? I know, if I were in your position, I'd want other people to be looking over the deletion, and I wouldn't be trying to force someone to change her mind.
- So here's the short version: leave the nice administrator alone, click on WP:DRV, and go see what those people think. Utgard Loki (talk) 18:28, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Bishonen, I enjoy your Bishzilla-speak as much as the next person, but do you really think that is appropriate for a request for arbitration? I suspect the request would be taken more seriously if you wrote it in grammatical English. Personally, I think it is extremely unlikely that any temporary desysop will happen. As Tango has said, any desysop would happen after a case. There is no emergency here. Carcharoth (talk) 10:05, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, think Zilla request highly appropriate. Arbitration page not sacred altar, in contrast to Zilla talkpage. Does little user really think verb-laden (="grammatical")[REDACTED] pidgin appropriate to use here? Suspect little Carcharoth more likely to survive visit to Zilla page if write in Dino Ursprache. Is proper deportment in presence of great Zilla. Little user make strange remark about temporary de-sysop. Arbcom many times at end of cases impose temporary (=time-limited) de-sysops. 'Zilla recollect ten days for InShaneee. Slap on wrist. Where objection? Furthermore please avoid addressing little 'shonen on Zilla page, most confusing. Kindly use dedicated page User talk:Bishonen for such. All clear now? Good. bishzilla ROARR!! 11:29, 13 April 2008 (UTC).
- LOL! Good to see you haven't lost your touch. I'll use your talk page next time. Thanks. Carcharoth (talk) 11:37, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
I share the same concern raised by Carcharoth above (viz. the dino-baby-talk in the RfArb), but I consider it completely inappropriate. A request for desysopping is a serious matter, as is an ArbCom proceeding. The dinosaur thing is funny, and clever, in its proper context; but in the context of an ArbCom case it is tasteless, and gives the impression (whether justified or not) that you don't take the whole thing seriously - and therefore, that you don't take Tango's reputation and integrity seriously. Arbitration is not a game; it has consequences which affect real people and their feelings, and I can assure you that I would be hurt and annoyed if you ever requested my desysopping using "Bishzilla-speak". Maybe I'm being needlessly pompous, but it's the way I honestly feel. I've made a statement to that effect in the RfArb. Walton 15:54, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- Acknowledge number person dislike use of incorrect gramma at ArbCom. Also know from experience that little ArbComs often get very very messy and ugly, even uglier than Tharks as seen here, and injecting a little humor is preferable to injecting some more vitriol. As long as Bishzilla gets points across coherently, her language not much worse than lots of furn editors me have met. Also, might freak out little Arbs if 'Zilla started talking like Henry Higgins and revealed she got doctorate from Oxford in English a few years ago, when she very politely asked for one. In this case, talking like herself shows little Arbs that situation isn't too dire. If any Arbs complain, though, me sure 'Zilla can do as good an Eliza Doolittle as Audrey Hepburn did. John Carter (talk) 16:20, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- It's not to do with incorrect grammar, or getting points across coherently. The problem is that deliberate use of dino-talk gives the impression that she isn't taking the issue seriously. When calling for someone's desysopping - especially when the background to the case is a topic as serious (and upsetting to many people) as 9/11 - it is highly inappropriate to play games and piss around. Much as Misplaced Pages may often feel like one of those online role-playing games, it is ultimately a serious website with a serious purpose, and desysopping someone is a serious issue. Walton 19:24, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, you seem to be indicating that not only are all admins responsible for all they say and do, which is reasonable, if a bit extreme, but that we also have to be responsible for what others might perceive us as being. If we do cross that line, then basically any individual will be free to say "I'm offended by ..." regarding reasonable comments perhaps phrased less than perfectly delicately, and, ultimately, we will have even more instances of the sort of activity which led to the current ArbCom. Freedom of expression, which you seem to be indicating is not necessarily an absolute here, is guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. If Bish-speak were somehow a violation of WP:CIVILITY, you might have a case, but I don't think it is. Certainly, the ArbCom could indicate to Bishzilla that she might do well to use her multilingual capacities a bit better in any future contact with them if they agree with you, and personally I wouldn't have any objections to their doing so. I know Bishzilla can still access some of her memories from when she was assimilated into Bishonen, like a Borg drone, probably including some linguistic skills. But there is a clear precedent that people can assume a false persona here and still operate. For what it's worth, "John" is my real middle name, and "Carter" ain't in there at all. It's generally been the case that the first time a
personsentient entity makes a mistake here, they get told it was a mistake, possibly with additional criticism, possibly not. But, even if Bishzilla wanted to, she couldn't change her prior actions now. Whether the case is accepted or not, if one of the Arbs tells her that in the future she should adopt more formal language when presenting to them, I'm certain she will. I know at least one of the Arbs, Newyorkbrad, who expressed misgivings of Bishzilla's, um, appetite during her RfA, takes the lingo as what it is. But this particular case is already about one editor being sanctioned by another for generally acceptable, if perhaps a bit less than perfectly "correct" speech, and I think it would be a really miserable precedent for us to insist that all such discussions be perfectly phrased. Bish-speak is probably more acceptable than the numerous perjoratives I've seen others use in Mediations, ArbComs, and whatever, and I don't remember those others being universally sanctioned in any way. And, like she said above, she clearly respects ArbCom, but it isn't a sacred altar. I've heard lawyers tell jokes in court to each other (really bad, obscure jokes, generally, but still jokes), and I don't think we should necessarily be even more strict than the courts themselves are.
