Cast notes

Guest star David Troughton is the son of Patrick Troughton, the second Doctor's portrayer. He has appeared in Doctor Who three times previously, as an uncredited extra in the first, fifth, and sixth episodes of the Second Doctor serial The Enemy of the World; as Private Moor in Episode Six of the Second Doctor serial The War Games and as King Peladon in all four episodes of the Third Doctor serial The Curse of Peladon. David Troughton is the second offspring of an actor to have played The Doctor to appear in Series 4 in a guest role (the first being Georgia Moffett in "The Doctor's Daughter")
