This is a rather shocking development, when an admin single-handedly ignores a three time community sanction and violates its trust by allowing abusive sockpuppetry, thus becoming a party to the crime. More. This is pretty serious and I will support any attempts to get this dealt with at the highest levels, including removal of admin tools and rights. -- Fyslee / talk 14:29, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

What can I say, but "that's simply preposterous," Fyslee. I'm not seeing any disruption from that account. It's not been confirmed as a sock puppet, and indeed there's no evidence been presented thus far to suggest that the account is owned by the user that it is.

Going along with the suggestion that it was, I left a message that was angled towards a "you are Cortigo, I presume?", with no hinting of my intention to block. Tricky, I suppose, but also gaining his trust; if he truly wants to edit, perhaps I could offer the chance for him to do so.

Then again, he hasn't edited since 2 September. This isn't a currently pending issue. That you are calling for desysoppings is frankly insulting, and I would suggest you retract that statement. There is no evidence at present (bar two editors' blank statements that he is a sock puppet -- I prefer to see solid evidence, regardless of the standing of the editors), and I am not going to take action on your instruction.

Frankly, it is irrelevant any kind of response by Fyslee. This is about a sockpuppet is editing on Misplaced Pages. If you are not interested in dealing with this matter you could of just explained that from the beginning. Again, I have provided solid evidence CorticoSpinal has returned. Is the evidence satisfactory for you? Or, you are not interested in dealing with this matter anymore. QuackGuru 20:00, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Apologies, I should have mentioned that from the start: no, I didn't intend to deal with this (from a blocking point of view, that is), and won't be taking any action on the matter. I have just noted Vassyana's message, and respectfully defer back to him again, or any uninvolved administrator. Fresh eyes are what's needed here, however: I've already dealt with this matter once; somebody totally uninvolved should process the remainder of the issues outstanding.
