This is a Misplaced Pages user talk page.
This is not an encyclopedia article or the talk page for an encyclopedia article. If you find this page on any site other than Misplaced Pages, you are viewing a mirror site. Be aware that the page may be outdated and that the user whom this page is about may have no personal affiliation with any site other than Misplaced Pages. The original talk page is located at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Trilobitealive.

To misquote George Orwell, all editors are equal but some are more equal than others. In my own case, after a prolonged disagreement with one particular administrator over whether neutral point of view should include some material from the universe of opinion other than a devil's compromise between radicals and bomb throwing lunatics, I dropped out for a long time then returned to a greatly reduced scope of editing, confined to topics which don't have a great amount of dissent (or at least whose dissenters do not normally burn down schools and hospitals and assault people on the streets). (See WP:EQ)

Fragmented conversations hurt my brain.
I will respond here to comments that are posted here, and, well, elsewhere to comments posted elsewhere. Please, please don't fragment a conversation just to get my attention—if I comment at a page, it's a very safe assumption that I have watchlisted it. I usually remove (Archive? Nope. Too much stuff on the net as it is.) discussions from this page once they look like they are finished but feel free to comment. TA.

WikiProject Medicine Featured Topic Task Force proposal

Hey Trilobitealive, I've just set up a proposal for a new task force in the WikiProject Medicine called FTTF, or the Featured Topic Task Force. We aim to create a featured topic for medicine, most likely to do with an infectious disease of some form (the proposals so far include polio and bacterial infections in general) and become the first medical featured topic. The proposal can be found here and further discussion can be found at the bottom of the WikiProject Medicine talk page. I've very much appreciate your comments and possibly support of such a proposal, if you'd be willing to take part! —Cyclonenim 13:38, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the information. I looked at the project and after thinking on it a few days realized that I wouldn't be able to give it the time it would need.Trilobitealive (talk) 18:31, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Autism spectrum

Thanks for volunteering to take a look at Autism spectrum when you have the time. I just now resurrected and spruced up that page, and it could use a review. Eubulides (talk) 06:24, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

This user admires NASA's dogged determination to drag a reluctant nation out of the 1960s.

Personally, I like it. I don't think it's too sarcastic or too obscure. -X- (talk) 09:49, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, -X-. Now if we could just convince the US Congress!Trilobitealive (talk) 02:38, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
