Inspirational Country Radio

Frankly, after quite a lot of searching, I've got next to nothing. I did find this (which you no doubt had already found) which tells me that it's not so much an actual radio network as it is a wannabe waiting for its first station to go on the air. You could plausibly put together a brief stub (with shiny logo!) to bluelink it in the WOTR article but there's not much more to go on for now and until it launches it seems unlikely that there will be more. - Dravecky (talk) 06:05, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

WSLK

You've been doing this, according to your comments, for 3 WHOLE years. Wow. I am so impressed. I have been licensed as a broadcast engineer by the FCC since 1977, which by my reckoning is over 30 years. That trumps your 3 years of self-described experience. In addition to that, I have an engineer under contract here who makes his living taking readings in the field for TV and radio stations all over the country.

In plain English, you don't know whereof you speak as far as my radio station is concerned. I don't know how you prove that a radio station is well-received without trying to receive it with a radio.

The text in the article as it stands now is still unacceptable to me, because it indicates that the signal is not as good as we know it to be. I don't really care what your 'research' tells you. I can tell you that the map you use is based upon data that was created in 1946, and does not take into account ground conductivity and other real-world factors. If you really knew anything about AM radio, you would know that ground conductivity is at least as important as conductivity through the air for an AM signal.

I respectfully request that you revert the text back to the way that I had it. I will not sit idly by and have you misrepresent my station's signal just to satisfy your own ego.

NH is taking a few days off. I've made a comment on the article talk page and am happy to discuss the issue with you. Let's talk there. --chaser - t 22:47, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

WHSV

Can you add First Alert 24/7 to the WHSV page? It is a channel provided by WHSV and every time I try to add it to the "WHSV Operations" section, it messes up the graph. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.62.232.171 (talk) 19:42, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Dude!

Moved from: User talk:Ikip

Posts like these aren't going to win you anything. While I think your post here has precedent, since another editor was blocked (see here) for the same thing. That doesn't mean you can forum shop it around. That is against the rules per WP:CANVASSING.

You need to disengage from the conversation before you dig yourself in a big deep hole and disengage from AMIB. You could shout to the world that he is a bad editor, but while you are also digging yourself into a hole, no one is going to listen. Disengage, take a walk, come back and find something perferably away from AMIB and work on that.

There will be no winners or losers in the current ANI discussion. Let it go, dude....trust me. - NeutralHomerTalk • May 5, 2009 @ 16:01

I think you miss what happened. There was a long discussion on ARS, which got me involved with the bilateral articles. I later posted some of what I found on ARS, including Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Deletion_sorting/Bilateral_relations#Article_copy_and_pasting That and posting to WP:AFD was the extent of my notifications. Do you still think this is canvassing?
thanks. Ikip (talk) 16:09, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Regardless, I stopped posting on the ANI as you asked, and requested AMIB close the ANI thread. Thanks for your efforts. Please post here, I am watching your page. thanks again.Ikip (talk) 16:55, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
I think posting to ARS was canvassing in my eyes....but since you have stopped posting at ANI (thanks!) I think all will be settled shortly. - NeutralHomerTalk • May 5, 2009 @ 17:10
AMIB has refused to close it. Ikip (talk) 17:22, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
That isn't surprising, I figured as much would happen. Just let it go, dude. Work on something else and just put it behind you. - NeutralHomerTalk • May 5, 2009 @ 17:46

I am not suprised either. Help me resist please. :( know any chants? Ikip (talk) 19:19, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

The Barnstar of Peace
The Barnstar of Peace is awarded to users who have helped to resolve, peacefully, conflicts on Misplaced Pages.

This barnstar is awarded to Neutralhomer, for their valiant attempts to resolve conflicts at ANI. Your efforts are appreciated and noble, and you are truly a valuable asset to wikipedia. thank you. Ikip (talk) 01:08, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

I went back to the discussion when the word "ban" was discussed. Unforunatly, it seemed only when I let it rip with full guns blazing, was the section closed. Really sad. Thanks for your assistance again. Ikip (talk) 00:11, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Clint Catalyst COI & so much more

wow - the Clint Catalyst article discussion could really use some NeutralHomer help. I am not doing my editing over there anymore, but I think it is pretty obvious that the user who accused me of having a COI most certainly has one him/herself. Tallulah13 (talk) 16:59, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Tallulah13's COI

She's editing on behalf of/to promote Clint Catalyst, and pretty much said so on her old user page. Let those of us who aren't fond of spam keep scrubbing it away and assume good faith on our part, eh? Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 23:17, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

  • I did NOT EVER edit to promote him {Clint Catalyst}. I am not worried about what you posted {the link to one of my old profile}I spoke the truth there and I am not ashamed of it, which was that I always verified things with Mr. Catalyst before posting. I see that as a GOOD thing, it means that my information was always verified & factual. The most important thing here is that I am NO LONGER making major edits to the listing {since you accused me of having a COI}. You however continue to do nasty things and I feel that YOU have a COI and should halt all your edits to his page as well. It is obvious you have some sort of vendetta towards Clint. You never do anything constructive there & your talk page is proof that other people have had issues with your vandalizing as well. 76.229.108.103 (talk) 03:30, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

WFLX

Just wondering what you think about all of the user generated logos recently posted on WFLX by TRICKBAKER. They are all original work by this editor and I doubt every logo has ever made it on-air. There is no talk page for TRICKBAKER. Is there a template for welcoming someone to wikipedia? Are those logos appropriate? Strafidlo (talk) 04:44, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Homer, I believe just using a proper timestamp would be the best way to solve it, i.e. - NeutralHomerTalk • 23:31, 7 May 2009 (UTC) should work fine. –xeno 23:31, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

OK...just noticed this was deleted. First off, no notice was given to me about its deletion. Second, just because there is a "newer logo" "used in the article" does not mean the image should be deleted as there are hundreds of other pages that have older logos on them. I request this image be brought back, replaced on the page and if you want to have a discussion about it...discuss. Don't go all willy-nilly and delete things without telling the uploader. - NeutralHomerTalk00:23, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi NeutralHomer, the notice thing is because you were not the creator of the image (this was created by 718bot from an original upload by Orangemonster2k1). If you look at J Milburn's reason for nominating this for deletion "Not required, is not discussed. The use of a non-free image is not justified" he is arguing that the image does not meet the non-free content criteria, specifically point 8 (image must "significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding"). There was no discussion not mention of the old logo, and it's significance, in the article and the consensus view over time in this case is that the image is usually decorative (eye candy) and serves no encyclopedic service. If you want me to restore and rerun the Ffd discussion I can do that but I think that the outcome, unless there is reliably sourced commentary in the article about the old logo, is not in doubt. - Peripitus (Talk) 00:34, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

BenH sockpuppetry

I reverted another of his edits on WKPT-TV, and reported him on AIV (which was a mistake), but the mod on the page said it wasn't vandalism... Click here for the edit. I don't know what to think... Nicholasm79 (talk) 11:36, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Stop

Since I said yesterday to stop bringing past IDs into this, you have done so on at least two occasions. Stop it now. I've been telling you to stop for a long while, but you keep doing it. This is harassing, and it needs to end now. either way (talk) 12:05, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Here is a thread where I told you to stop in January: Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive510#Complex_thread_from_WP:AIV. Here's another: User_talk:Willking1979/Archive_2#Re:_Guess_Who.27s_Back...in this one you called referring to you by past accounts "personal attacks." So it's okay when you do it, but "personal attacks" and "dregging up the past" when I do it? either way (talk) 12:15, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Clint Catalyst COI & Hullaballoo Wolfowitz

Hello, as you were able to confirm for me that the list of books with ISBN numbers which I have been falsely accused of copying + pasting was indeed reputable and acceptable, I thought I should let you know that I have replaced them into the Clint Catalyst article - however, the first time I did so, Hullaballoo Wolfowitz removed it again claiming that I was being "disruptive". While I have brought it back again, I feel that the COI notice on the article should be reinstated while this editor is afoot. Could you please do this? Sorry if I have the wrong editor, I seem to remember you being the one who removed it initially...and thank you! Granny Bebeb (talk) 12:20, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Keep it Cool

You've done a good job so far in your argument with Either Way with civility, but watch it, if it goes on to much father, you'll loose control. Either has a power to bring that out, watch it.--(NGG) 23:43, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
