:Now you're taking it the wrong way buddy. I never said that I didn't want you to help me. It's just that during Kapoor's first FAC, there were some reviewers who practically went through every source and started nit-picking the article, pointing out that the source doesn't support this claim, etc. Before your edit, the sources were originally used to show that the film had one of the widest releases in the UK and North American market. ::I have noticed how nasty it can get during a FAC and that is why I am trying to use sources that support the claims provided. I have replaced several sources with new ones and I happy with the way the article is progressing. Anyways, I seriously didn't mean to offend you. I could have easily reverted your edit without asking you (and I know that would've been rude); for that very reason, I wanted to find out what you were trying to say. -- ''']''' ''']''' 17:13, 26 April 2010 (UTC) | ::I have noticed how nasty it can get during a FAC and that is why I am trying to use sources that support the claims provided. I don't think you were very nice to me with regards to the .
After thoughtfully (in my opinion) laying out the issues based on 25,000+ spam-related edits and some hard lessons, I felt like I was being attacked for not caring about Misplaced Pages accuracy by you when you had little intention of doing any of the work or taking the heat yourself and, in fact, had created a chunk of the problem.
As a matter of fact, I was already well aware of potential issues with fallingrain.com links, having spent hours with just one problematic article about a non-existent city as you can see by my edits:

I know and respect the fact that you're one of our most prolific and valued editors -- certainly more valuable around here than I am -- but the rest of us mere mortals are still human beings, too. Please don't assume that we don't care about this project just because we don't immediately jump on your command.<br />--<font face="Futura">] (] • ]) </font> 22:28, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
Nice? Do you expect me to be nice to you when you are stepping in the way of correcting 9,000 articles, many of which have provable false data? If you swore that a batch of articles contained false data and a source was seriously questionable I would certainly not stop you from doing what you thought was right to correct it and improve the encyclopedia. As for citing examples of my behaviour and sneakily looking for evidence in citations as you;ve done above, I really deplore that kind of behaviour and would normally delete such messages. It is completely unnecessary. An unreliable source is an unreliable source. If there is no trust between fellow editors then how is this encyclopedia supposed to be improved? 9000 BLP errors or copyright violations would not receive the same sort of indolent attitude and would promptly be sorted out. ]</span> ] 10:17, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
::''"Nice? Do you expect me to be nice to you"''? Yes, of course I do. It's the human thing to do and besides, it's a ] around here as I recall.
::You have shown ], especially when they don't do exactly what they want, when you want it done.
::Ironically, I was trying to work through the backlog of blacklist requests; yours had languished for months. I was trying to get the ball rolling to help you with this process. Many of us, however, have commitments off-Misplaced Pages and don't have hours upon hours to edit Misplaced Pages. Additionally, we have other, pressing priorities in improving Misplaced Pages -- trust me, fallingrain links are ''not'' this project's only reliability problem.
::The easiest link removal has by now been done by others but ]. Every time someone removes a reference -- even a bad one -- they have to make an ''editorial'' decision. It's not just house-keeping. Do they find a replacement ref? Just leave a {{tl|fact}} tag? Remove the assertion that the ref is supporting? Remove the ref and just do nothing? What if the reference is the only thing supporting notability? Do they tag the article for notablility? Nominate it for deletion (])? Propose it for deletion (])?
::Rather than clean up your own mistakes, you want others to do it right away. You want someone else to spend dozens of hours communicating with other editors, discussing reference replacments, and deleting 9000+ links -- 100s of which you added yourself! You decry "no trust between fellow editors" yet you ] towards those that don't immediately accede to your way of doing things, calling them "indolent", unconcerned, irresponsible and their actions lame and bull -- topping it all with "I seriously question you as a wikipedian". You post notes on other peoples' talk pages complaining about me and my actions, yet complain when I see this and point it out to you.
::]? | |||
::Do you feel good about your role in all this? Are you proud of it?

27°45′N 85°26′E / 27.75°N 85.43°E / 27.75; 85.43 Mahamuni Buddha TempleI have not been able to locate the two refereences to the face wash ritual. Two pages 163-164 in Schobers' book which contained the related details are now not displayed on google. Can you fix them. I have fixed all other references. --Nvvchar (talk) 22:18, 21 April 2010 (UTC) Doc, thanks for all your help in making this a GA article. Hybernator (talk) 13:47, 25 April 2010 (UTC) Yes, I'd love to cooperate on more Burmese articles too. At this point, I'm primarily focused on completing articles on Burmese history. And it's going slowly... (My part-time job.) After filling out brief articles on all the kings, I do plan to rewrite the existing articles on the major Burmese kings like Anawrahta, Tabinshwehti, Bayinnaung, Alaungpaya, etc. There are enough sources about these figures to make their articles GA worthy. I definitely want to get yours and others' help. I have rewritten some of them: e.g., Razadarit, Minkhaung I and Minyekyawswa. We should be able to extract some DYK nominations. In the mean time, if you have Burma/Burmese related articles that you want double-checked by a native Burmese, please let me know. Thank you. Hybernator (talk) 14:27, 25 April 2010 (UTC) Jameela JamilI'm afraid I'm not much help here. My initial take is she's of South Asian origin. To me, she doesn't look Burmese, Malay or any other indigenous SE Asian. Of course, she could certainly have some SE or E Asian heritage... (Her eyes and perhaps her skin-tone--though it's hard to tell). It's possible but I'm not sure. Hybernator (talk) 17:05, 25 April 2010 (UTC) Melanie Sykes: Yeah, I guess I can see some SE/E Asian in her. But I wouldn't know which E/SE Asian origin. She could well have had a Thai, or Filipino grandfather to get a similar look. Hybernator (talk) 17:27, 25 April 2010 (UTC) Lithuanian paintersok, i'll do some more of them, but it's thin references in non english speakers, they will probably get AfD'd; btw i'm only doing a little google search, to get refs. Pohick2 (talk) 00:46, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Your GA nomination of Mahamuni Buddha TempleThe article Mahamuni Buddha Temple you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Mahamuni Buddha Temple for eventual comments about the article. Well done! Thanks for all your hard work! S Masters (talk) 14:15, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
fallingrainHei! I have nuked faiilngrain from the few remaining external links sections for Greenland articles on my watchlist. Should I see more later that realm, I'll remove them too. While I'm here, could I bother you with a proposal to move your stub: 'Angmagssalik Fjord' to the officially sanctioned (new ortography, post-1973) 'Ammassalik Fjord'? I would like to update this article significantly over time, and de-orphan it. Regards, Algkalv (talk) 14:24, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
KabandhaCan you check the article and copyedit it? Thanks --Redtigerxyz 16:18, 22 April 2010 (UTC) Yeah sure I'll try to look at it tonight. I have some problems to sort out in the next few days so I'll try to edit it when I can. Dr. Blofeld 18:24, 22 April 2010 (UTC) The Barnstar of National Merit for Myanmar
Periyasamy ChandrasekaranYes - that seems to happen a lot once someone's died. A small stub ends up becoming something more substantial. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoLo dicono a Signa. 20:57, 22 April 2010 (UTC) BhutanI will probably add some text to Druk Air GAN article after I get back to Bhutan if by that time the review is not completed. Did you know that our two articles, Taktsang Dzong and Punakha Dzong, are the only GA articles of Bhutan, so far? I have completed the fixing of disambaguation links and also two dead links of Architecture of Karnataka Article. However, it would still need your skillful copy editing by you.--Nvvchar (talk) 23:12, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:HoldYourMan.jpgThanks for uploading File:HoldYourMan.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).PLEASE NOTE:
AfD nomination of Blaženka Arnič-LemežAn editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Blaženka Arnič-Lemež. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Misplaced Pages:Notability and "What Misplaced Pages is not").Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Blaženka Arnič-Lemež. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:15, 23 April 2010 (UTC) EastwoodThe article definitely has come a long way (probably a little too long, but condensing comes later). I got sidetracked from starting last week in preparing the Oklahoma City bombing article for the main page. Now that it's mostly stable, I've returned to sourcing Eastwood's article. I went through all the pages I tagged in his biography and sourced random statements in his article. I tagged additional pages to improve some of his film articles and I'll probably get to those this weekend. The book covers all of his recent films, all the way up to Gran Torino and some speculative information about Invictus. I can likely expand the 1995 and up this weekend, but I'll probably need to re-read portions of the book first. After that, some of the larger sections will need to be split off (if not already) and then content remaining can be condensed which will reduce the page size. At some point all of the articles could be improved to at least GA status to get a good/featured topic. At some point! --Happy editing! In the meantime I see you you have been as productive as ever. Lots of great work! But I have missed out, apparently, on discussions regarding the use of information from fallingrain.com. Has it been shown that it is unreliable? If so I better get to work removing it as a reference. Please let me know what the go is. Many thanks, John Hill (talk) 08:39, 23 April 2010 (UTC) PS: If we can't use fallingrain - what about Google's www.maplandia.com ? Cheers, John Hill (talk) 08:53, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

DYK for Bhutan Olympic Committee
Jameela JamilI take your point that her ethnicity may be of some importance for the Wiki article - but I don't believe it is critical. There seems to be a real furore on the internet at the moment about her ethnic background - I am sure all will be revealed before too long by one of the numerous celebrity magazines or programs which are on her case. I don't think it will matter very much if we have to wait a while to find out. If I were her I would drag the whole thing out as long as possible - she sure seems to be creating a lot of interest with this minor mystery! Oh, BTW, congratulations once again for another DYK (see above) - and thanks so much for your magnificent and rapidly increasing contributions. You are a star! Keep up the great work!
