This is Momento's user page. To Momento, Prem Rawat said in the early 1970's that he was the tree and all the other gurus were weeds. Sounds to me like he was claiming to be the one and almighty God in one analogy or another. It's not a matter if he said he was the Lord. It was a matter of thousands of premies believing him. Hell, I sung "Lord of the Universe" on top of my lungs at divine light mission ashrams so many times that I brainwashed myself with hundreds of other devotees. He didn't have to chant "I am God or Lord" on a mantric way. Satsang or the group support strenghten our beliefs in such a fanatic and militant fashion that we hypnotized ourselves. It was definitely a group "chain reaction" and it kept going on for many years. I still think many devotees think he still is God without studying his private life. The ex-premies know better.
