Gaelic Athletic Association county
Good work in clarifying that article. Would not have expected it of you. It avoids a comfy ambiguity that it previously had. Laurel Lodged (talk) 18:19, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

Northern Ireland
I think I'm going to faint, seeing a part of... being incorporated in that article's intro. Hopefully (someday), that neutral intro will be added to England, Wales & Scotland. GoodDay (talk) 00:12, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
- Every once in a while, some of those who think of WP as a handy soapbox start to think how much more useful it would be if the content was neutral. Brocach (talk) 19:07, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- You just don't have a clue, do you? Your claim to be unbaised, at Talk:Northern Ireland is preposterous in the extreme! Van Speijk (talk) 22:30, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- I have never claimed to be unbaised. I have claimed to be unbiased, and to be able to spell. Brocach (talk) 23:08, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

I just would like to thank you for your great help in copy editing the article about Pavel Astakhov. I really appreciate your style and your efforts to bring this article closer to Misplaced Pages standards. Go raibh maith agat! --Daniel (talk) 01:37, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

Category emptying: final warning
Brocach, this is a final warning.
Back in September I warned you not to empty an existing category without a consensus do so. You deleted that warning and the following discussion, but it is still there in the history of this page.
When the discussion at Misplaced Pages:Categories for discussion/Log/2012 September 26#Category:Gaelic_Athletic_Association_clubs_in_County_Londonderry was closed, the closing admin also warned against emptying categories.
I now see that in these edits on October 17, you emptied both Category:Hurling clubs in Northern Ireland by county and Category:Hurling clubs in the Republic of Ireland by county. As you know, this is wrong way to go about this: if you object to the existence of those categories, propose the merger at WP:CFD, and discuss the proposal to seek a consensus.
Since this is the third time you have been warned about this, this is your final warning. If you empty a category again without seeking consensus at WP:CFD, you will be blocked from editing.
I see that in the course of those edits, you also removed the {{GaelicGamesProjectCategory}} banner from Category talk:Hurling clubs in the Republic of Ireland by county. That is also unacceptable: it as a category of Gaelic Games-related topics, and unless the category is deleted by consensus, the project's banner should remain.
You clearly have some firms views on the categorisation of Gaelic Games articles, but please remember that decisions on Misplaced Pages are made by consensus. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 21:48, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- Broacach, you just deleted this warning, as you are entitled to do on your own talk page.
- However, I am restoring it to note that since posting the warning above, I spotted that you had also emptied Category:Gaelic football clubs in Northern Ireland by county, in these edits: , , , , , .
- Please stop emptying categories unless there is a WP:CONSENSUS to do so. You know to seek a consensus for removing a category, and you have already opened a CfD discussion on Category:Gaelic games governing bodies in Northern Ireland. That's how to go seek the change you want. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 22:54, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
