Semi-protection: I previously requested pending changes protection on this page, in the hopes it would stop the overwhelming number of vandalism attacks on this page. Unfortunately since pending protection was put in place 114 attempts of vandalism have still be made, several of which have been accepted by other users as the vandalism appears innocent to the casual observer (user(s) keep adding films to the list that were not released until several years after the awards ceremony was held). Having pending changes protection on this page has actual made it more difficult for me to fend off the overwhelming number of vandalism attacks as I now have to also check all accepted changes. Please change to indefinite semi-protection. This page has been regularly vandalised since 1 month after I created it and has now been vandalised over 300 times. This wasn't preemptive at all. The page had been protected twice already; in the 12 hours after the most recent protection expired, the article was vandalized four times by three different users. It's not hard to see how this movie ends. --Bongwarrior (talk) 02:50, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed.
• Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Misplaced Pages:Suggestions for COI compliance), the {{Edit COI}} template should be used.
• Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Misplaced Pages:Requested moves, not here.
• If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
• This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.
