Phi Ceti (F Ceti), is a star located in the constellation Cetus. Phi Ceti is also known as 17 Cet, and HD 4188.

Phi Ceti is an K0III Giant star with an effective temperature of 4200 Kelvin. It has an apparent visual magnitude of +4.76, and an absolute visual magnitude of +.727. It is located 209 light years from the Sun, and has a mass of 1.1 solar masses. It is an irregular variable.
