Waata Pihikete Kukutai (–8 January 1867) was a New Zealand tribal leader, farmer and assessor. Of Māori descent, he identified with the Ngati Tipa and Waikato iwi. He was born in New Zealand. Waata Kukutai's parents were Kukutai I and Oiroa Muriwhenua, of Ngati Hourua.
