I am leaving Misplaced Pages because I can no longer deal with the trolls who infest it. Seriously, this place has become worse than usenet ever was. There needs to be a more robust voting system in place here to keep teams of trolls from imposing their views on articles simply in virtue of their superior numbers and ability to subvert the system. They ignore discussion on talk pages or respond in personal attacks and non-sequitors, and take turns reverting articles until they tire people out and win by attrition.

I'll be systematically removing every contribution I have ever made here and explaining why, as I see no reason for this place to benefit from the work I've put in over the years, particularly in researching new articles (usually found on the "Most Requested Articles" page) that haven't changed since I created them. Those number in the hundreds.
I have the unfortunate tendency to get involved with controversial topics and try to inject reason and moderation into them, but lately I've just been getting infuriated and losing my temper, so it's definitely time for me to go.
