:I am not "resorting to threats", as you put it, and am actually not that bothered what the article says. She can be British, English or even Martian for all I care. Her nationality has been changed on numerous occasions, largely by people who prefer it to be one thing or the other, and I generally have a rule that when spotting such changes I revert to the previous version unless there's a good reason to change it. You seem to be the only one troubled by us stating her nationality as English, and I will note that when you added the sources before it was changed back within a few days. There is a talk page discussion open on this issue, but unless there are others who support your view I think it's best to stick with the status quo. ] (]) 19:22, 7 June 2016 (UTC) | :I am not "resorting to threats", as you put it, and am actually not that bothered what the article says. ::It was actually changed back last time by , which as you'll see is not me, so you might want to do your research first before hurling accusations. But this just goes to highlight what I was saying above. Someone thinks she should be British so they change her nationality to British. Someone else then comes along who doesn't like that so they change it back to English. Then someone else doesn't want her to be English so it gets changed again ... and so on. The whole thing just becomes disruptive, and usually they're editors with only a handful of edits. I'm sure there are probably instances where Adele has identified as English, and indeed I found from December 2015 with only a couple of minutes research. The reason I asked you not to do this again was to allow for a more in-depth discussion on the talk page; incidentally the discussion you refer to did not reach consensus, and eighteen months have passed since then. ] (]) 18:45, 8 June 2016 (UTC) | ::It was actually changed back last time by , which as you'll see is not me, so you might want to do your research first before hurling accusations. Revision as of 18:49, 8 June 2016
August 2015
Please stop edit warring on the Waitrose article. Your revision is inaccurate, as the whole of Great Britain is not covered. Continuation of your reversion will see you blocked from editing. Thank you, David J Johnson (talk) 15:15, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Waitrose shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. --Redrose64 (talk) 19:45, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 18
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Crawford (name), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Britain (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Adding YouTube links
Please do not add user-submitted material to articles, as you did with Adele. If you wish to change her nationality from English to British then the onus is on you to find a reliable source that states this fact. Generally these would be publications from sources such as BBC News, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent and The Times. There is no blanket ban on YouTube links, but they should generally be avoided. Also, if this article were to be nominated for good article or featured article status citing a YouTube link would not be acceptable. You might like to check out WP:YOUTUBE for further information. Please do not make the change again until you can find a reliable source quoting Adele, and it may also be sensible to open a talk page discussion to gain consensus on this matter, since the one you quote in your edit summary is from some time ago. Thank you, This is Paul (talk) 18:32, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

I suggest you don't do that again until and unless you gain consensus to do so. This is Paul (talk) 18:58, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
