i am working to revise the English which as wel as the Dutch wikipage of Joep Franssen and was making the refenrences more accurate, relevant, objective, etc. So if you have any objections please talk.... How can I work in this page if you remove my text which was not finished at all????

Queen Rania

Hi Omni Flames I wrote in the summary "citation needed and missing link" I thought this would be enough. I also corrected the reference to Harper's Bazaar and not Harper's and Queen. The original link is non-existent if you try clicking on it you will see this. There are only anecdotal secondary references to this ranking on one or 2 websites but there is no direct citation from Harper's Bazaar. The references that I found talk about a ranking as consort and not "first lady". I hope this is clearer now as I think my changes are legitimate.

@Domdeparis: That message was an automated one, I didn't write it myself. Anyway, I see what you mean now about the link being nonexistent. Omni Flames Ok I get it now but in actual fact the link was just a mention in an article that she had been voted the most beautiful consort in a Harper's Bazaar rating but this rating is impossible to find on the net. So it was not really pertinent anyway even if it had not been dead, so I still think that it is better to have a {{citation needed}} in it's place. That said should we be citing an article that claims something based on information for which a source is unavailable? If I say that she was voted the third most beautiful consort in Harper's and Bazaar and this information is picked up by 3 web sites that do not quote their sources and it is not available on Harper's and Bazaar should we allow a reference to one of these web sites or tag it with {{citation needed}} ?

I have added the dead link template plus the citation needed template and cleaned up the phrase with sufficient explanations I think.

Thank you for the POV ;) - The term was coined in 2013, see my talk archive. Member #1 (photographer - and author - of the Yogo sapphire) left several times, last in 2013. Member #2 (designer of the award) was banned by teh community, #4 (that's me) and #9 were restricted by arbcom for years, #14 vanished, #16 was blocked as a user who returned, #18 retired. But things are moving, #6 was elected arbitrator and made Wikipedian of the Year, and the funny restrictions are no more, so we keep the label more for entertainment. - If you have articles to be reviewed for GA and FA, you can place them on WP:QAIPOST, also ideas, - it's open for everyone. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:10, 11 July 2016 (UTC)
