Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Corruption, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Per WP:BRD when you have been undone you should discuss the edit on the talk page rather than restore it. Your material does not seem to be corruption and so is not appropriate int his article. Misplaced Pages and copyright

Control copyright icon Hello Techtonic365, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. All or some of your addition(s) to Girnar have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Misplaced Pages, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 10:49, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

Suppression by misusing Administrators rights.

I request oversighters Sphilbrick to look into the issue of suppression by RegentsPark on the page of Mahatma Gandhi Techtonic365 (talk) 19:56, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

I'm looking, but at first glance, not seeing the suppression. Can you be more specific?--S Philbrick(Talk) 13:47, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
@Sphilbrick: I'm pretty sure that's because there was no suppression. User:RegentsPark only reverted this editor, who really needs to learn how to do proper citations with book names, authors and page numbers. Doug Weller talk 11:07, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
I agree, as a new editor, they may not know what suppression means, and confused it with ordinary reversion. Nothing for me to do here, Techtonic365 can discuss the reversion with RegentsPark, which looked warranted.S Philbrick(Talk) 15:48, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

Harish Patel is not a reliable source

There's no way he meets our criteria at WP:RS. See his biography. Doug Weller talk 11:03, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

Please use inline citations including page numbers

See Help:Referencing for beginners. One other point, please avoid using Google snippets, they often missout important context. Thanks. Doug Weller talk 11:15, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

Image without license

Unspecified source/license for File:Sambhavnathji.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Sambhavnathji.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Misplaced Pages's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Misplaced Pages can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Add more content in the Etymology section of India

According to text Bhagavata Purana, before India was called Bhāratavarṣa; it was known as Nābhivarṣa (lit. land of Nabhi). Emperor Nabhi was a Chakravartin (Universal Sovereign of India) and father of Rishabhanatha. Techtonic365 (talk) 19:57, 10 June 2018 (UTC)

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. NeilN 04:24, 11 June 2018 (UTC) I won't accept any irresponsible administrator blatantly deleting a major portion of the section without any prior discussion. Better request the MilborneOne to stop arbitrary disruptive editing. Thank you!Techtonic365 (talk) 04:28, 11 June 2018 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on India. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.SpacemanSpiff 04:33, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
