I recently added an external link to the Cat page for the origins of the cat. The article added was a paid work for hire by a professional writer and the pictures of the cat fossils on the page were taken at the Washington D.C history of natural museum. There is _nothing_ being sold on the page and the article is purely informative and provides facts not available on the main page. Based on your reason for removal, no articles college sites could be linked to either as the college is attempting to "sell" education.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.8.75.101 (talk • contribs)

• The link appeared somewhat questionable to me when I viewed the product tabs on the website (which are usually things you want to avoid adding as an external link). College websites are an exception if they are placed on an article about the college or website. However I recommend that you first request the addition of the link on Talk:Cat. Quick Question

Hello, I've been RC patrolling recently, and have seen quite a few people removing warning templates. If they do, is there a template that will tell them not to do it? Should I report them to WP:AIV? Thanks for your help. --Tlim7882 00:40, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

• If they have been blatant enough a vandal then it would not hurt to go ahead and report them. However its better to warn them the first time with a template like: {{subst:removewarn}}. If they continue to blank the warnings then request an administrator to semi-protect or fully protect their talk page depending on whether IPs or user accounts are blanking the page.¤~Persian Poet Gal 00:47, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
