	Firefox proxy testing is not a guaranteed method. I've been wanting the ] experts to post some documentation on best practices but I don't think that's happened yet. Anyway, I have Firefox 1.5.0.7 and go to Tools → Options → on the General "tab", click the Connection Settings button → choose the Manual proxy configuration radion button → type the IP and port number → OK out of the various screens. Now you're going through that proxy and your real IP is being hidden. If you can still get to Misplaced Pages and get to an edit screen successfully, that means you're in. 	::Heh well the problem is I don't really know how to do that, even with the explnation it seems extremely complicated to me. The point is that this is really a minor problem. The person in question (Aldux) seems to removing valid content such as the names in Croatian for those people and cat's connected with them and even corrections to the link. For example in ] he keeps reverting ] to non-existant ] and putting construction 'Italian Officer' when the man was born, lived and died in Austria-Hungary so he could have been only Austro-Hungarian officer (that he was an ethnic Italian no one disputes). In Francesco Patrizi article he again removes his name in Croatia and Croatian cat while putting cat "Italians from Yugoslavia"?! The man was born in 16th century there was no Yugoslavia, same for Italy, he was Venetian (Republic of Venice) and if this designation is good for ] it's good for Patrizi as well. The same goes for Meldolla and Cotrugli. And Nenad Bjelica as a Serb is totally unreferenced, there is absolutly no proof or source given to this claim. 			Hi Asterion.
	I have been dealing with the article on adolesescence, namely the part on adolescent sexuality and neogitiating the removal of data of HIGHLY dubious viability and which is obviously opinionated (Lot's of the data is from a single book by leonard sax which is not easily accessible by the average person) And i have placed in more accurate and backed up Center for disease control data on adolescent rates of std transmission/pregnancy rates which have been CONSISTENTLY deleted along with the references DESPITE my asking for proof of sax's 'studies' and 'facts' to be given in an internet reference and for possible other sources on this controversial subject to be used that aren't obviously against it.

			Do you agree with this rationale more or less? An anon placed a deletion tag the other day (and I swear it wasnt me ;) which was promptly removed. I restored the tag, adding a bit more at the tag (basically the summary edit made by the anon). Then it has been removed again.
	What concerns me the most is that it is FILLED with data from just ONE book by a supposed guru on adolescence who claims to have all the facts on teen sexuality and it's dangers and how while my attempts to make the article more nuetral and at least input data from both sides of the debate are overwritten...

			Apparently the due process (bureucracy, you know?) would be to start a afd stuff. Actually, I dont think the article should be deleted, but overhauled. The thing is that, as it is now, it is SO messy that I can't see where to start from. So I thought it would be good to delete it and start from scratch. However, I guess this will kickstart all kind of suspicions and/or "procedure concerns" within the ruling bureaucrat class (which you are part of :P). All their chatter is fine and dandy with me...the problem is that sometimes blocks action. And we shouldnt have such an important article like that one reduced to the regrettable state it has been for years.
	There's the fact that some teen or parent might go to the article on adolesence and after reading a few paragraphs on the topic of teen sexuality (Which despite my best efforts is somehow constantly returned back to it's highly biased and non nuetral state by trolls) would declare it horribly dangerous and thus likely cause A LOT of worries, suppression, etc. etc. and EVEN MORE fear about the horrors of teen sex, WITHOUT even allowing for opinions to prove that STD transmission rates and pregnancies have gone down among teens in the last few years without being waaaayyy at the bottom behind the MASSES of Leonard Sax and exclusively right wing opninions, I'm requesting that the topic is locked until a consensus can be reached and if no proof of the dubious (at best) claims about teenage emotional shallowness can be brough out that someone helps me to stop this constant trolling....

			The funniest of it all (well, if there is anything funny at all with this) is that no one really seems to care in defending that article...it is just a vanity thing where any given nationalist/regionalist having a bad day makes his OR of the day and leaves the article (in an even more regrettable state) without possibly care to ever come back...
	The anti vandalism bot reverted my correction where i moved up the CDC data to the top and added teen sexuality based on country to the almost original super biased state...

			I already asked about this topic once, I know....in any case, you know you can count with my support to improve the article if any serious action is taken. If you are up to the challenge, then please inform of due process ,etc.
	I've decided to take this to an administrator and i think that you might be correct, currently I am about the only person to be against what i see as unnuetral, biased, and un wikified data on teen sexuality and I'm wondering if you could scan over the current version (It might have been reverted by someone again to it's old state which is what concerns me the most) And perhaps revert it to my version and lock it down until my concerns can be met.

I'm not really sure why Rainbowangie was blocked, but if you take a look at Libeary's edit history you will see they are going around adding speedy deletion templates all over the wiki for petty reasons on articles that if they were to be deleted should probably be taken to AfD. I'm not really familiar with wiki-stalking, but I think Rainbowangie's behavior is justified. Anyway, I'd appreciate another head being involved with the situation. 			I believe Misplaced Pages's policy is that it is best to avoid copyright material if possible. ] states that "Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic". In this instance, the excerpt is used within a reference and adds nothing to the article. Moreover, at 222 words in length, it is by no means brief. The citation itself is enough to verify the material.

Hi Mountolive. I am not the only admin who has taken part on the RM discussion. As a matter of fact, Husond has been more active than me. The page is still listed at WP:RM and I am positive that other admins are keeping an eye on the move request. It would not feel right for me to close it, even if consensus has been reached. Bien, te escribía para pedirte tu consejo como conocedor del mundillo wikipédico anglófono (esto es, necesitaría tu consejo como usuario experto... nada relacionado con tu rol de administrador).

Si has tenido la intención de pasarte por los artículos relacionados con Gibraltar supongo que habrás tenido la mala suerte de toparte con Gibnews. Me abstendré de calificarle, pero no de señalar su obvio POV-warrioring lo cual, en sí mismo, no es malo. Sin embargo, lo que no voy a tolerar es que tenga secuestrados los artículos gibraltareños como está haciendo. Te pondré dos ejemplos de sus habituales malos modos, que son lo más reprobable. Aquí elimina una edición mía con una calificación que considero inaceptable; aquí se elimina un punto de vista con la pobre excusa de que el inglés usado era malo. ¿Cuál sería el procedimiento que debería seguir para que estos comportamientos fuesen adecuadamente sancionados. Hi Asterion.

Do you agree with this rationale more or less? An anon placed a deletion tag the other day (and I swear it wasnt me ;) which was promptly removed. I restored the tag, adding a bit more at the tag (basically the summary edit made by the anon). Then it has been removed again.

Apparently the due process (bureucracy, you know?) would be to start a afd stuff. Actually, I dont think the article should be deleted, but overhauled. The thing is that, as it is now, it is SO messy that I can't see where to start from. So I thought it would be good to delete it and start from scratch. However, I guess this will kickstart all kind of suspicions and/or "procedure concerns" within the ruling bureaucrat class (which you are part of :P). All their chatter is fine and dandy with me...the problem is that sometimes blocks action. And we shouldnt have such an important article like that one reduced to the regrettable state it has been for years.

The funniest of it all (well, if there is anything funny at all with this) is that no one really seems to care in defending that article...it is just a vanity thing where any given nationalist/regionalist having a bad day makes his OR of the day and leaves the article (in an even more regrettable state) without possibly care to ever come back...

I already asked about this topic once, I know....in any case, you know you can count with my support to improve the article if any serious action is taken. If you are up to the challenge, then please inform of due process ,etc.

I also restored the tag myself when an anon deleted it... I was under the impression that to contest anything like that, at the least, an explanation was due (ie {{hangon|reason why...}}). Re: Quotations, et cetera

Hi and thanks for your message. I believe Misplaced Pages's policy is that it is best to avoid copyright material if possible. The non-free content criteria states that "Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic". In this instance, the excerpt is used within a reference and adds nothing to the article. Moreover, at 222 words in length, it is by no means brief. The citation itself is enough to verify the material.

There is no mention of Orange and its a triband phone which works OK with them in the UK.

It may be that they claim it works, but for the moment it does not.

Hi Asterion. Even though you look quite inactive these days, I wanted to refer to you to the following case: many of the entries related to León have acquired a very particular bias which, at times, is, to say the least, plainly misleading (for example the Comunidad Autónoma de León article). Apparently, user:Auslli has a great deal to do with these edits. I am not saying that he hasnt a case, but he is also proceeding with unilateral and unexplained deletions which, no matter how small they are, should be explained.

Mmmhh, would you review some of these articles, just to see if I am being overcautious or not so much? or do you know another Spain related editor who could be willing to?

Help with vandalism

Hey there -- I found you on my talk page being helpful a few years back and I'm in the need of a good admin.

Would you be able to look over the recent (past few days) issue at Natan Slifkin -- there's been User:Estherneiman (who has no content on her user page and no contributions other than to the article in question article) who's been adding an excess of anti-Slifkin webcontent as external links, even though Slifkin himself maintains a thoroughly comprehensive archive of opposition content on his own website along with responses (already included) and there are already a number of links providing dissenting views included as well.

I initially rolled her back but it was heading for an edit war because she likely doesn't appreciate Wikiquette and likely doesn't know what a talk page is, seeing how new she is -- but she has persisted in reversing my and other reversals. I asked another admin I found on my talk page to jump in, but he merely commented on her talk page and I was wondering where we go from here. Thanks in advance for your consideration. Hi Asterion, I'm surprised about your revert for reasons of a "misleading edit subject." All I did was use the 'undo' button in the article history; I never claimed to restore the latest version. The paragraph in question hadn't changed in the meantime, but others had, so this seemed appropriate to me. Is there something I'm missing? Just curious.
