Hey folks, this is my homepage. Got tired of seeing my name in Purple, so figured I'd better start one up. I'll figure out what userboxes to add and whatever soon.
Quick info: I'm 32, and I work a tech support job for a fairly major storage company. (yup, those big storage boxes that companies put all their data on.. I jokingly asked if there was an employee discount.. I don't think they saw the humor in it :P :D)

Some facts... | |||
1. This is your favorite "banned" "sockpuppet."
2. I am your FAVORITE "sockpuppet," NOT your LEAST favorite "sockpuppet" (as you said in an edit earlier today).
3. This is what could be deemed a "throw-away account."
4. Every one of these "facts" are just that...facts.
5. In the past 72 hours, my edits have gotten no less than 3 wrestling articles deleted.
6. In the past two months, my edits have gotten no less than 15 wrestling articles deleted.
7. Those "no less than 15 wrestling articles" were all stubbed, nonsense, and vanity articles which deserved to be deleted.
8. My goal is to improve Misplaced Pages, not to hurt it, and in many ways, I have improved Misplaced Pages through my efforts, as evidenced by the recent ] reforms.

I want to tell a small story, so, forgive the length. This was more than 15 years ago at this point. I wasn't even an Administrator here. I was just another editor trying to get the articles the best they could be. I ran into an overzealous editor.
Part of his overzealousness was that he had done interviews about a wrestling promotion for an unpublished book, and wanted to insert them into Misplaced Pages articles. The other part was that he wanted credit for what he put into Misplaced Pages. (as in "Compiled by Person X")
When he got told "No, this is not how the rules work here", he.. well... got overzealous. Using open proxies, he created over ONE THOUSAND sockpuppet accounts to try to vandalize and cause trouble because he felt he had been unfairly treated.
Learning about Misplaced Pages's Dispute Resolution procedures and how to try to get consensus on how articles should read during this gave me something. It became the impetus for me to be a Misplaced Pages administrator, and later, a member of Misplaced Pages's Arbitration Committee (elected twice, for a total of three years).
I hadn't really thought about him until recently, where someone mentioned this person, and I found out that he had passed away in 2021. He had really grown up in the meantime, and even got a role as a professional wrestling referee in some independent feds.
We were on opposite sides of a dispute, but it still saddened me to learn of his passing, and I'm glad he was able to work in an industry he had quite obviously idolized. So, rest in peace, JB. Glad you were able to fulfill your dream.
