I have more questions than I have answers coming to this page.

Why the default are set to <code>|format=Y/F</code> when <code>format= %%i</code> is better according to the ]?
Could someone more familiar with the bot offer input at ]? An editor asks, "{{tq|When editing a talk page to initiate bot archiving, I used the suggestion command for Cluebot several days ago (Talk:Propolis) and see today that nothing has happened. Is there a way to trigger archiving immediately within the first seconds/minutes of saving the talk page edit}}"? It's a valid question, but I have no idea. ] (]) 05:33, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

Also can I to switch to numbered formats later? Or it's not possible because it will break the bot? - ] (]) 14:31, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

:Because ] to the documentation without updating ]. But I prefer dated archives, myself, because they just make more sense to me, but it's a debated issue. From a technical perspective, it's (slightly) better for the bot and the Misplaced Pages servers to use dated archives since then the bot doesn't have to "find" the right archive by checking the sizes of archives, it just knows based on the date. This isn't a big deal, but when it comes to defaults for a popular bot where most people won't care one way or another, it's better generally that the default be the more efficient option. <span style="color:#dbb5ff;font:bold 125% 'Brush Script MT',cursive;padding-left:.75em;padding-right:.5em">— ] ]</span> 23:56, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
I have configured ClueBot III to archive ] after 90 days. While that works fine in general, I notice that the first two threads currently on top of the page (both feedback requests from Yapperbot) weren't archived, even though more than 90 days have passed and some threads that ended later have already been archived. Does anyone have an idea what's wrong there? Some earlier feedback requests were archived just fine. ] (]) 09:00, 14 July 2024 (UTC)

== Reviewing help ==

Hello there, I was wondering if I could help reviewing the false positives. About a week ago, I went to the reviewing interface and it just says "Your account is pending approval". I was wondering if there was something I needed to do, or a permission I needed to ask, to help reviewing. Cheers, — ] (] &amp; ]) 12:59, 18 July 2024 (UTC)

Question regarding ClueBot

Can I please see the source? (A github url for ClueBot) ? Is it being run on someone's PC or is it being run in the cloud? I have more questions than I have answers coming to this page.

About ClueBot III JustArchiveThis

Why the default are set to |format=Y/F when format= %%i is better according to the documentation?

Also can I to switch to numbered formats later? Or it's not possible because it will break the bot? - Ivan530 (Talk) 14:31, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

Because someone added that comment to the documentation without updating User:ClueBot III/JustArchiveThis. — Naomi Amethyst 23:56, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
