Andrew Tan(Chinese: 陳勢安; pinyin: Chén Shì'ān; born in Penang on 4 June 1984), is a Malaysian Mandopop singer and actor. Tan started out as a professional make-up artists, but moved into showbiz in 2006 after a double win at Malaysia's Astro Talent Quest and Hong Kong's TVB International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship. In year 2010, he branched out into Taiwan with his breakout hit 'Tian Hou' (Stardom).

Career

2006-2010

In 2006, Chen Shian won the runner-up in the "Astro Rookie Contest" held by Astro Malaysia, and subsequently won the "Golden Microphone Award" in the "TVB Global Chinese Rookie Singing Contest". The following year, he released his first album "Grand Debut", and won the Bronze Medal for Best New Artist at the Entertainment Association Awards. In 2010, he released his second album "Tianhou" and debuted in Taiwan at the same time. One of the songs "Tianhou" also quickly became a hit song on KTV, and set a record of 411 consecutive days on the KKBOX Chinese singles chart. It became Chen Shi'an's first representative work.

2011-2014

In 2011, together with Taiwan and singer Bii, they released the single "Must Do It", and the two also left a message on the river bank to hold a "Situation in Bii Concert" at the Ximen Red House Exhibition Hall, which received a great response. In November 2011, the third album "Love Again · Tianhou Chen Shi'an" has many songs that allow Chen Shi'an to achieve better results, including "Heart. Hole", "Not Used to Crying Pain" and so on. 2015-present

In March 2015, he was a guest of Bii Shujin's "Bii My Love" concert in Malaysia. In September, he released the compilation album "The Imperative 3-The Final Chapter of the Heart Age" with Bi Shujin, Chen Yanyun and Li Yuxi; on September 26 of the same year , as a guest performer of Huang Xiaohu's "Hu Mei Life World Tour Concert" in Malaysia. On October 14, 2016, the fifth album "Dear Paranoia" was released, of which the title song "Good Hobbies" is the opening song of the Korean drama "Doctors". MTV's Strongest Voice 2016 Asian Trend Music Concert Annual Voting Top 20 - 2016 Asian Trend Singer; at the same time, the "Dear Paranoid" overseas tour promotion was launched.
