You uploaded or restored , ], but for various reasons did not add an {{tl|information}} block, or indicate your (user) name on the file description page. Media uploaded to Misplaced Pages needs information on the '''SPECIFIC''' authorship and source of files, to ensure that it complies with ] laws in various jurisdictions.

Not arguing for the inclusion of the stat on CY's page, because it's immaterial; your edit is better. Just wanted to explain that lgERA is a sabermetric statistic used to indicate the ERA for a league-average pitcher in that ballpark or combination of ballparks. Also, WHIP is expressed in three decimals in a lot of sources, including Baseball-Reference.com, where that information was pulled. Please update the source and authorship fields, so that they accurately reflect the source and authors of the original work(s), as well as the derivative you created. You should also not use a "self" license unless the work is entirely you own. Media that is incorrectly claimed as self or {{tl|own}}, will eventually be listed at ] or deleted, unless it's full status is entirely clear to other contributors, reviewers and image patrollers. You should also read ] which details how to confirm any permissions you obtained for works by others that are still in copyright.

Yeah, I was there, and those penalties and the missed extra point killed us. I really thought we would win easily, especially because we were at home. Hopefully I won't send you a bad feelings message on Tuesday. I will stay up late to watch your Avengers, or at least make my most committed effort. Good luck to your Avengers, and please root for Columbus to get their ass kicked by Dallas next week :). Soxrock

Yes, I really was, even though the seats weren't the best. And, if I were you, the reason I would be concerned on Monday is because your 0-2 vs. Utah this year, not because your at home. Then again, that's my opinion. Good luck and have a better time than I did! ] 20:27 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Now, I've never been to the Staples Center, but is your section (205) in the second deck? Or is that the first deck, because I had seats behind the endzone. And, for ESPN, were the announcers Mark Jones and Merrill Hodge? I only ask because I think I saw the ESPN press box (2 people were wearing fancy suits with ties). Thanks ] 20:33 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Ironically, that is about the same angle from where I sat today. But it was definitely farther away from the field. And Schlereth/Wischusen are doing the KC/COL game ] 20:48 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Ok, thanks. I'm gonna do some more AFL related work now. Again, have a good time on Monday, I'll be rooting for LA. ] 20:55 June 30 2007 (UTC)

Sorry it took awhile (I was busy updating and am still busy after the COL/KC epic finish), but I like the image, but do you have a larger image of that? Images that users here take and upload do not need resizing as much as a fair use image does. And since you took it and is thus non-fair use (it does not require limited usage), it can be larger than 160 x 106. Just wondering if it can be made larger as well because it's fairly hard to see the play. And yes, please put the image on the Avengers 2007 article. ] 21:50 30 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry about that :( Message me when your back. ] 22:04 30 June 2007 (UTC)

== Avengers ==

Ok, first off, GO AVENGERS!!!

Now, for maybe individual player pages, I'd recommend trying to get pictures of Sonny Cumbie, Kevin Ingram and/or any other high profile Avengers players. As for the 2007 Avengers article, I'd maybe get a picture of a touchdown celebration or something. Something that would depict something good for the Avengers, as images that generally aren't showing something good are removed. ] 20:24 July 2 2007 (UTC)

== Avengers ==

I didn't hear the pregame (I was watching Yankees/Twins at 7:00 and it ended right on time), but during the telecast the announcers (Mark Jones and Mark Schlereth) were talking about the Avengers daunting defense witnessed last night and Utah's quick-strike ability. They said near the end of the telecast that, if any Chicago officials and/or players were watching that next week's game won't be easy for Chicago.

As for the game itself, Josh Jeffries was amazing. The only blemish for him was that fumble. ] 14:18 July 3 2007 (UTC)

Before going further, you should read ]. When a user account is "hard-blocked", the IP addresses used by that account are also automatically blocked for 24 hours. When someone requests to be unblocked and say they were autoblocked, it means that they shared the same IP, at least during that 24-hour period. Soxrock apparently is on a fairly static IP (meaning it rarely changes). When he was blocked for 3RR a few weeks ago, A. Shakespeare was autoblocked! The edit that Irishguy left on my talk page was A. Shakespeare requesting to be released from the autoblock but also ''proves'' that A. Shakespeare and Soxrock were using the same IP address within that 24-hour period. —] (]) 11:50, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
:I don't know if you're still having doubts about Soxrock. is another edit you might find interesting. One of Soxrock's admitted socks removing an unblock question from ] with the edit summary "''It's expired, the IP I have had a 24-hour block because of MrJiggifly1121''". That's basically Soxrock admitting that he was on the same IP as the MrJiggifly1121 account that vandalized his user page. To me the checkuser is unnecessary (which may be why it hasn't been acted on yet) and the only thing left is to determine a proper response. —] (]) 03:31, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

== Undoing edits and edit summaries ==

I saw your ] about default edit summaries. These are a bit hard to read but once you get the hang of it it's easy to figure out what's going on. In the case of the Eric Gagné edit, take a look at this entry:

:(cur) (last) Adonice293 (Talk | contribs) (13,439 bytes) (undo)

If you mouse-over the URL, you will see
:<nowiki>http:</nowiki>//en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Eric_Gagn%C3%A9&'''oldid=148797275'''

The '''oldid=148797275''' matches the same number in the edit summary of the "undo" edit:
:(cur) (last) 01:28, 5 August 2007 Jaranda (Talk | contribs) m (13,631 bytes) (Undid revision '''148797275''' by Adonice293 (talk)) (undo)

It would be far less confusing if the undo-edit default summary used the time with a hyperlink rather than just the edit number. Feel free to suggest this at the ].
]/<small><small>(])/(])/(])</small></small> 10:52, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

:Yeah, I noticed that... I had to because I wasn't sure which edit was edit id '''148797275''' before I checked myself. That's also what confused me... just by looking at the edit summary and seeing that number, I would have to search to see which edit was the one that was being reverted, something that I really don't like to do. But it's not an issue that I'm really concerned about. Thank you, Davidwr. ''']'''<small>]</small> 16:37, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

== Seriously stop ==

Stop checking all my edits, that is in the verge of ]. ] ] 19:22, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

:Not really... I'm free to edit whatever I want. And that's the reason why your contributions are visible to the public, so other people can monitor them when they see the need. You have caused some problems in the past, so you're one of the users on my list of users whose edits I monitor constantly. When I look at your contributions and see that you make an edit that I don't agree with, one that I think isn't necessary, then I'm gonna revert it. Per ], that's only an issue if the edits that I'm making are bothering you or preventing the progress of Misplaced Pages, neither of which I'm doing. Since your contributions are visable to the public, I'm free to look at them and revert your edits if I feel fit. ''']'''<small>]</small> 19:26, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Please attribute or claim media you uploaded or restored: File:RHudler.jpg

You uploaded or restored , File:RHudler.jpg, but for various reasons did not add an {{information}} block, or indicate your (user) name on the file description page. Media uploaded to Misplaced Pages needs information on the SPECIFIC authorship and source of files, to ensure that it complies with copyright laws in various jurisdictions.

If it's entirely your own work:
please include {{own}} in the relevant source field, amend the {{information}} added by a third party, ensuring that your user name (or name you want used for attribution) is clear in the author field, and change the license to an appropriate "self" variant (if such a license is not already used). You should also add an |author= parameter to the license tag, to assist reviews and image patrollers.

When you have copmpleted the above steps: to indicate that you've accepted the given the license shown, and updated the file description page appropriately.

If it's not entirely your own work, or the media is based on the work of others:
Please update the source and authorship fields, so that they accurately reflect the source and authors of the original work(s), as well as the derivative you created. You should also not use a "self" license unless the work is entirely you own. Media that is incorrectly claimed as self or {{own}}, will eventually be listed at Files for Discussion or deleted, unless it's full status is entirely clear to other contributors, reviewers and image patrollers. You should also read Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission which details how to confirm any permissions you obtained for works by others that are still in copyright.

Whilst this notification, relates to a single media upload, it would also be appreciated if you could ensure that appropriate attribution exists for other media you uploaded, You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If media is not claimed, and there's no other obvious source or authorship information, the file may have to be removed for copyright reasons.
