Cumulus, why did you revert my addition of Chimpy to ]? It's a popular nickname, and the source I gave is perfectly legitimate and cited as-is. ] (]) 02:33, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

==Your edit to my talk page==

Hi there. Recently, you added a post to my talk page, in response to a comment by BQZip01, saying: "You know I'd really appreciate it if you would stop leaving messages like this on people's talk pages. Running around screaming about my unwillingness to compromise isn't going to help your case at all and, in fact, will probably only make you look worse." Personally, what ''I'd'' appreciate is you not bringing your dispute with BQZ to my talk page. That message was intended for him, not for me, and should have been left on his talk page, not mine. I recognise you have an ongoing problem with BQZ, but that doesn't mean you have to follow him around and make sure every post of his is followed by one of yours. For what it's worth, I opposed his RFA, but your comment actually made me consider supporting it. ] (]) 03:10, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

== Dismissiveness ==

It looks to me as if you took an article that I created, edited it down to a ] (removing the references), and then nominated it for deletion on this basis, all without seeking my input or notifying me of the AfD as recommended. Is that correct? If so, I suggest you seek input from other editors who have worked on an article, and seek consensus as is the wiki process, rather than just persuing your own agenda. ] (]) 16:10, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
:You should not consider this a personal attack. First, deletion of your user page history make it look like you were a new user being a little too bold. Second, my comments were intended to focus on your behavior, not your character, so they are not meant as a personal attack. I still suggest you try to seek input and engage other editors more. For example, you could try asking leading questions before stating your opinion. So, rather than threatening to seek sanctions for a personal attack, you could ask if comments you took personally were intended to be insulting. This will avoid unnecessarily insulting the other user thereby escallating the situation. ] (]) 12:45, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

== FYI on references ==

First off, brilliant job on finding all the references for ]. However, I noticed a couple of suggestions with the formatting the references:
# When you are citing a news agency (newspaper, tv station, etc) please use {{tl|cite news}}. {{tl|Cite web}} should only be used for non-news sources.
# With newspapers and magazines, make sure you italicize their titles. If you use {{tl|cite news}} the easiest way to do that is to use the work field, otherwise just use two single quotes before and after the name of the newspaper/magazine, i.e. <nowiki>''The Seattle Times''</nowiki>.
# If you are using the cite web and cite news templates, you don't need to wikilink the date field if you use ISO formatting. Both templates automatically wikilink ISO dates.
Other than that, keep up the good work with hunting down those references. --] ] 00:48, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

== Daily Mail not a source? ==

I perfectly happy with your edit of ], but I am intrigued by your assertion that the Daily Mail is not a source. It is quoted elsewhere in the article. ] (]) 16:28, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
: Oh I have hardly edited the article at all, and am not in the least offended. It is ironic that I specifically made an effort to find a source that I never read myself, for fear of "favouring" a particular source. I hadn't realised the Mail's poor standard of reporting in this case. ] (]) 23:16, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

== Why ????? ==

Dear Cumulus,
May i can know why you deleted some of my pictures ?
It fit with articles !! and you did that before asking me, which is very impolite !

I look forward to hearing from you.
Gabriel.
--] (]) 22:26, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Well, thank you for your answer, but i don't even know on which facts you based your idea.
Please : be factual and don't think that your opinion is the only truth !
This is my photograph, and even if i know Misplaced Pages is a 💕 (which is dedicated to you as it is dedicated to me), the information about the photographer is a part of a media (the image i mean), so it is normal that it appears.
I you have a look at any media which is well builded, you will see that authors informations are always displayed.

I try to share my work to help this website in having more illustrations, and then being more "friendly" and understable for readers.
What you did on my work (i mean my contributions, and the hours i spent for this) is clearly unfair.

I earn no money for this, i am not engaged by any model agency, and i don't need[REDACTED] to get professional projects.

So, unless if you have clear and factual proof that i work on[REDACTED] for my promotion, your are invited to set back my work as soon as possible.

Many thanks.
Gabriel.

----

It is not.
Because you are quite brilliant, you can also see that i'm a new user and i thought i have the right to have a page on Misplaced Pages, but people here act like you, they deleted my page without giving reasons.
Then because i had no reasons i re-created it.
Hopefully, on the French Misplaced Pages, they explained me with i can not have a page yet.
So it's ok.

About my own page, i don't know what's the matter !
The user page is dedicated to present my own profile, that's what administrators suggested to do for my own presentation, because i can't have a page on[REDACTED] yet.

And, again, i can see that you consider your own opinion about my past errors and my profile (which is a free area for me) as the truth.

So, give me proof or a factual reason that i made all this contributions into a commercial or promotional aim, or set back my work.

Thanks.
Gabriel.

----------

I have to inform you that :

In your crisis of pretention to judge what is good or bad about my work for Misplaced Pages, you asked for a deletion of the Marilyn Agency page !!
This agency is on Misplaced Pages from a while ! You destroying the informations of this website, you have to be careful !

Moreover, i set back my work, you don't gave me any good reason.
And please don't think i have all my time for this (as it is in fact free usefull contributions).

All the best.
Gabriel.

Have a nice day, do not hesitate to contact me back. ] (]) 11:00, 21 September 2008 (UTC) (PS : would you please answer on my user talk page ], many thanks)

I respect your comment at this latest AfD about the SPA account . The nomination seems likely to come from someone who had dealt with this article in the past, as new users would not have the knowledge or experience to do an AfD nomination as their first (and only) act upon Misplaced Pages. I have also noticed that no one involved in the article or first AfD, you and I included, were notified by the nom of the second AfD, and this is even more suspicious, in light of the nom's apparent knowledge of how to do an AfD nomination. With your experience in ferreting out puppets, what is your opinion of this one... who may have been created for this one purpose and may never edit again? ''']''' '']'' 20:11, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

:It was your own keen eye and inciteful comment that caused the nom to go to , so as to not have only one edit. Then the nom made showing far greater knowledge of Wiki than one might expect from a newcomer. With your greater experience dealing with sockpuupets and meatpuppets, what would be the next step? ''']''' '']'' 02:55, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
::*I wouldn't say I have any greater experience than you do with sockpuppets. I'm just going to watch his contributions and check the histories for pages he edits. So, not a directly linked sockpuppet. Checkuser would not be able to determine a meatpuppet or sockpuppet if the master were careful and did not use the puppets from the same IP or to do the same edits. Yes? No? Myself, I am still concerned about the reason for a newly created single purpose account, as a true newcomer would not or could not act in such a manner or have such depth of knowledge. :Please see ], which governs allegations against well-known public figures. You have been blocked for 24 hours for edit warring at ]. Consensus there ultimately favors adding this information in to the article.
