No problem, obviously your call. Sorry if this is the wrong way of getting back to you. I was merely looking to find the county town of Clare and was a little surprised when it was far from obvious.

1. 'County seat'. I now realise Ennis appears in the left-hand summary box, but I could not originally recognise it there, because of unfamiliarity. While I note the expression 'County seat' appears elsewhere, I suggest in this entry it is importing an anachronistic and so unhelpful term. As the respective Misplaced Pages entries confirm, 'County seat' appears a specifically North American term, while 'County town' is correct for Ireland. County town should therefore surely take precedence, perhaps along with either "or seat", "/seat" or "(seat)" to assist US users? While I accept neither term is completely opaque to people not familar with them, 'town' seems the more obcvious description of Ennis?

2. I was therefore surprised to see no other reference to the county town, as I would intuitively expect to see the administrative centre normally feature the odd time in an entry for any geographical/political unit. For example, entries for both neighbouring Galway and Kerry each refer to their county town a handful of times, whilst Dublin makes over a dozen appearances in the Ireland entry.

3. 'Local Government and Dail Eireann Representation'. The next thing I did was look in this sectin. If you do feel it right to exclude any reference to local government across the county - being based in, and run from out of, Ennis - then surely this title should be revised to remove "Local Government and" to avoid confusion.

No, I am not striking your edit, but and edit signed by the sockpuppeter I noticed that you recently removed a number of software listings from the ] page, stating that they were not notable. ]
Some of the removed software, such as Biovia Sketch and ChimeraX, are widely used and highly notable in the field. The value of this page lies in being a highly technical and comprehensive list, striving for completeness. An incomplete list reduces its usefulness to readers, especially those in research and industry who rely on such references.

:Misplaced Pages is not endless list of packages as that can bite with ]. A valid selection criterion (]) is that a package has its own article on the English language Misplaced Pages. With the existence of an article, it can easily be proven that a package is notable and fit to include in a list. ::Even including all existing software the list would not be very long, I doubt it could be considered spam under any definition of the term. The page is highly technical and maintained by experts. Any useless reference would quickly be removed. You are degrading (and quite severely) the quality of that page with no specific knowledge of the topic.
::If you wish to cut out software that is not deemed relevant, please ask someone who knows something regarding that kind of software before indiscriminately removing items of high significance, I guess you could contact someone working on the computational chemistry part of the wiki.
::Regarding writing a page about those software, can sure be done, but I'd rather do what is actually useful to me and other people working in the field rather than wasting time writing pages nobody will ever actually read.

Hiya. While I support and agree with many of the recent GAA NAVBOX template discussions you've opened, there are a few that are perhaps not in the same bracket. (For example, I completely agree that isn't needed. But I don't think that ] is in the same state/category...)

I know, 100%, that you wouldn't deliberately seek/want to cause distress to any one editor. But I wonder (putting myself in that editor's shoes) if I wouldn't feel taken-aback if that many templates were placed on my own talkpage. When, perhaps, a direct or collegiate approach ]. I don't know what you think you're doing at ] but you need to take a second and review ] to learn what vandalism is. More specifically, calling an edit "vandalism" when it is not (repeatedly) can be considered a ], and your actions in general today seem to be borderline ]. Removal of valuable information on molecule editor

Hello @The Banner, I noticed that you recently removed a number of software listings from the Molecule editor page, stating that they were not notable. Some of the removed software, such as Biovia Sketch and ChimeraX, are widely used and highly notable in the field. The value of this page lies in being a highly technical and comprehensive list, striving for completeness. An incomplete list reduces its usefulness to readers, especially those in research and industry who rely on such references. Could you clarify the reasoning behind the removal? Misplaced Pages is not endless list of packages as that can bite with WP:SPAM. A valid selection criterion (WP:CSC) is that a package has its own article on the English language Misplaced Pages. With the existence of an article, it can easily be proven that a package is notable and fit to include in a list. In short: to include an package in the list, Write The Article First. NAVBOX noms

Hiya. While I support and agree with many of the recent GAA NAVBOX template discussions you've opened, there are a few that are perhaps not in the same bracket. (For example, I completely agree that a random NAVBOX covering mostly red-linked/non-notable members of a club team that won something ROTM two decades ago isn't needed. But I don't think that Template:Gaelic games awards is in the same state/category...)
