To answer your edit summary, no, I didn't intend to remove a reference. I was apparently looking at an old revision of the page and noticed Walmart was used as that reference. I then proceeded to edit the new version of the page without paying attention to what I was removing, and inadvertently removed a good reference. After seeing your edit summary, I had a WTF moment, and had to try figure out just how I had done that. Thanks for catching my goof.--] (]) 03:31, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

== Scary Movie 5 ==

{{resolved}}

Forgive my ignorance about Misplaced Pages etiquette... but, what's going on? Last night, I tried to correct several mistakes about the actors cast and their character names. Now, I'm getting weird "warnings" that are associated with your user name.

My name is J.P. Manoux. I am #7 on the call sheet for this movie. We are in the middle of production RIGHT NOW here in Atlanta. Much of the information previously associated with the cast of SCARY MOVIE 5 was incorrect.

Not that I care all that much.

Thanks.

:On Misplaced Pages, we require sources for all content added to the encyclopedia. Anyone can come on here and claim what you have, so we need to be able to verify everything that's added. If you really are JP Manoux, it's great to see you here, but we still need verifiable sources for added content. --] ● ] ● ] 17:42, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

How do I provide "EVIDENCE" that I am who I say I am? And what's to stop "real" people from posting nonsense? And who are you? An employee of Misplaced Pages? — Preceding ] comment added by ] (] • ]) 18:11, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

:Verifiable sources means the information should be published via a reliable medium, such as an online newspaper (like HuffPost, for example). There are millions of editors on Misplaced Pages who work every day to prevent nonsense and vandalism from being posted in articles. I'm one of these editors. If you take a look at my contribution history (http://en.wikipedia.org/Special:Contributions/GSK), you can see I rollback vandalism on an almost daily basis on numerous articles. Most of the editors on Misplaced Pages are not employed by Misplaced Pages, but are regular people like you and me. If you're curious about the verifiability policy on Misplaced Pages, I suggest reading over these two articles: ] and ]. I'm going to open a discussion on ] to get a second opinion. --] ● ] ● ] 18:35, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

== GTA San Andreas ==

Hello. Thank you for your concern in helping me editing pages! Actually, I read a lot of stuff about video games. I had found a while ago a website reamrking that the game had actually sold 27.5 million copies, so, I just changed the number to 30 million in order to make it ''easier to read''. Also, as it was quoted in the original GTA San Andreas page on Misplaced Pages, it says ''In 2011, Kotaku reported that according to Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has sold 27.5 million copies worldwide.''. Concerning the PS2 sales that are 17.3 million, the other 10 million being the PC sales, adding other console sales (PSP, XBOX), it gets even higher than 30 million copies. Please, reconsider it!

Thanks in advance,
Jimmy — Preceding ] comment added by ] (] • ]) 15:52, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

:One more thing - after waking up and having a more sane mind, I found that the editor copied information from Sulake's own website (especially http://www.sulake.com/press/awards/ and the profiles for each of their games)... This might mean that he doesn't work for Sulake, and it might be a slightly more innocent case of copying directly from the Internet, by an unaffiliated third party. Maybe he's just out to make the world a less critical place or something. Definitely doesn't rule out COI though.
