I am an independent consultant for the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and Michael Harner. As such, from time to time I request edits to the article on Michael Harner on that article's Talk page with the sole intent to improve the article.
At the beginning I made a newbie mistake of editing the page directly, for which I apologize. Since then I have made myself familiar with WP:COI policies and have received help from other editors on the proper way to request edits.
