I'm interested in going through NPP School so I can get the knowledge I need to become a quality page reviewer. Reviewing incoming pages is an important task to keeping Misplaced Pages working well, and it looks like there's enough of a backlog that another pair of hands would be useful. I've got a good deal of AfD experience, a moderate amount of PROD and tagging experience, and a touch of CSD experience (see ] for my best attempt at a log of all my CSDs). Unfortunately, many reviewers do not go through the reviewing process thoroughly and we dont have enough reviewers to work on the task. Each sister Misplaced Pages (different languages) is operated independent from each other and have it own guidelines. You will see many articles appear in other languages Wiki but they dont in En Wiki because they fail GNG or SSN or SGN. GNG is not the only guidelines use in AfD but also SSN and SGN. WP:GNG is for article deletion. In fact, before linking I briefly checked and found ghat eg sv:Guram Kutateladze has reasonable references and pl:Guram Kutateladze tabulates plenty of wins. Altenmann GNG is the guidelines for the subject to have/ warrant a page/article in En Wikipeida. When a new article is written and appear in En Wiki, it goes through a review and for the article to be in the main space and even regardless how old/long an article existed in En Misplaced Pages and if it does not page the GNG guidelines, it can be nominated for AfD. Unfortunately, many reviewers do not go through the reviewing process thoroughly and we dont have enough reviewers to work on the task. Each sister Misplaced Pages (different languages) is operated independent from each other and have it own guidelines. You will see many articles appear in other languages Wiki but they dont in En Wiki because they fail GNG or SSN or SGN. GNG is not the only guidelines use in AfD but also SSN and SGN. Updates for editors

  • Administrators can mass-delete multiple pages created by a user or IP address using Extension:Nuke. It previously only allowed deletion of pages created in the last 30 days. It can now delete pages from the last 90 days, provided it is targeting a specific user or IP address.
  • On wikis that use the Patrolled edits feature, when the rollback feature is used to revert an unpatrolled page revision, that revision will now be marked as "manually patrolled" instead of "autopatrolled", which is more accurate. Some editors that use filters on Recent Changes may need to update their filter settings.
  • Recurrent item View all 31 community-submitted tasks that were resolved last week. For example, the Visual Editor's "Insert link" feature did not always suggest existing pages properly when an editor started typing, which has now been fixed.

Updates for technical contributors

  • The Structured Discussion extension (also known as Flow) is being progressively removed from the wikis. This extension is unmaintained and causes issues. It will be replaced by DiscussionTools, which is used on any regular talk page. The last group of wikis (Catalan Wikiquote, Wikimedia Finland, Goan Konkani Misplaced Pages, Kabyle Misplaced Pages, Portuguese Wikibooks, Wikimedia Sweden) will soon be contacted. Sooo Cas, I have been struck again by the ANNOYING Revirvlkodlaku dude again. I wrote about Things From the Flood, which is the 2nd artbook by Simon Stalenhag, on the Simon Stalenhag page. I wrote that it was the sequel to Tales From the Loop (True fact in the books) and he says it's "Disruptive writing". I am truly offended, especially when I wrote a true Stalenhag fact. M'Clure Strait

My name is Bernard Peissel I was the land coordinator of the Passage through Ice expedition. My son Nicolas Peissel was the expedition leader. During the trip we never were able to communicate with Cowper and did not know if he was ahead or behind us. So we only claimed we were the first sailboat through. Now this article proves we were the first civilian boat (not an icebreaker) through M'Clure Strait. What other proof would you like? BernyVA2BP (talk) 08:31, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
