Early wood carvings (triptych "People of the Homeland", cycle "Uncles", both in 1959, "Railwaymen" in 1961) are characterized by an expressive, rough form, laconic and precise characteristics of the characters, the influence of folk carving. Later works, especially memorial ones, of generalized forms, are characterized by monumentality and emotionality.
