KETH is a full-service television station in Houston, Texas, broadcasting in analog on UHF channel 14 and in digital on UHF channel 24. It is the TBN affiliate for Houston, Galveston, and the surrounding area. Founded October 12, 1983, the station is owned by Community Education Television, Inc. It became the first religious station in Houston. In that time when we didn't have religious stations, KTXH, KRIV, and KHTV where the only independent stations that showed religious programming. Half of the KVQT-LP, KAZH, and KCVH-LP pastors came to the KETH teleton, which sometimes spanish commericals can also be seen. Marines and End Abuse.
On February 19, 2009, which is the end of the digital TV conversion period for full-service stations, KETH-TV will be required to turn off its analog signal and turn on its digital signal (called a "flash-cut").
