In education, WebQuest is a research activity in which most information comes from the Web.
According to the original paper by Bernie Dodge , a WebQuest is "an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from resources on the internet, optionally supplemented with videoconferencing." there is a more up-to-date definition at Educational Leadership. Also take a look at Tom March's Best WebQuests.com .
Usually, the quest is divided in the following sections:
- Introduction
- Task
- Process
- Evaluation
- Conclusion
- Teacher Page
