Attack at aerospace company headquarters in Ankara
On 23 October 2024, multiple people were killed in a terrorist attack at the Turkish Aerospace Industries headquarters in Kahramankazan, near Ankara, Turkey. Interior MinisterAli Yerlikaya wrote on X that three people were killed in the attack and that 14 others were wounded. He added that two suspects were "neutralized."

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya wrote on X that "A terrorist attack was carried out against the Turkish Aerospace Industries... Unfortunately, we have martyrs and injured people." Mansur Yavaş, the mayor of Ankara, said that he was "saddened" by the incident. NATO secretary generalMark Rutte said, "Deeply concerning reports of dead and wounded in Ankara. NATO stands with our ally Turkey. We strongly condemn terrorism in all its forms and are monitoring developments closely." Justice MinisterYılmaz Tunç said that an investigation had been launched.
